First time here and I'll definitely be back! The food was gorgeous and I was torn as to what to eat! So many lovely choices! Really friendly staff and a great atmosphere!
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeLovely food and great service will be back
Papa Luigis – ChorleyVisited the Whitchaff for the first time after driving past for many years, Excellent food and friendly staff. Can definitely recommend
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallMy recent visit to this homely feel restaurant was enjoyable as always. Staff friendly and atmosphere pleasant. The food was delicious and cannot fault that. My only niggle was there was no wine list available to look at, at the time I visited due to an update apparently. I ordered a bottle for the table, I was not offered to try it first before hand also we were served a more expensive wine than what I would normally go for. I only was informed of the charge when I asked for it afterwards. Also some of the young staff could do with a bit more training on their knowledge of drinks stock and things in general. Just a niggle but if a wine list was available and young staff a bit more clued up then things would have been perfect. Great place for functions also as private room spaces available.
The Ribchester Arms – PrestonOnce again a lovely night up on the mezzanine being served wonderfully tasty food from very attentive staff... the atmosphere here always has a nice vibe. I can't recommend this place enough, never had a bad dish here. Thoroughly recommend.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallThis is how you do food! Impeccably presented by highly approachable, professional staff. All at a price point that is, given the experience on offer, outstanding. CDJ is a hidden gem.
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenOur first visit and we were amazed by the food including flavours and presentation. The venue was really nice too. The front of house service, however, was very slow. We waited a long time for drinks and someone to come and take orders etc. 1 hour 40 mins for a single course lunch seemed excessive but we weren’t in a rush so didn’t really matter. Will definitely be going back just hopefully the service will be a little smoother
Bread and Butter – PrestonFriendly, helpful and thoroughly professional staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. Would thoroughly recommend this place. Will definitely be back.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleGreat food and attentive service as always.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterExcellent all round! There was 11 of us and we pre ordered, one of the choices we made unfortunately wasn’t communicated to the chef but the service was unbelievable, apologies were made and the meal was substituted with no charge, I thought this was a generous gesture. The food was amazing! Yes the room was a little drafty when we first sat down but it didn’t spoil our evening at all. We will definitely be booking again Thank you
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenOne of the best ever
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallFood and service excellent as normal. Our favourite place by a very long way.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkExcellent Food we were well looked after and don't feel rushed to leave.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleHave been here numerous times and never had any complaints however visited on a very busy Saturday night (8th February)and not sure if that was the reason for such a disappointing visit. The service whilst fast was terrible with plates being thrown onto the table and certainly not with a smile. We were a table of three and the pasta dish was cold, chicken dish dry and again cold and the stroganoff dish lacked taste. Wine glass was covered in previous users lipstick! Such a shame as now will not be rushing back.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWe visit The Whitchaff on Saturday evening and enjoyed both the atmosphere and the food. Actually we all said that the food was delicious! We had different meals ranging from Steak Pie, Chicken Shawrama burger and Chicken Sizzlers. We ate all of it so that seams to say lots. The staff were all very friendly, respectful and polite to us. We would definitely recommend this lovely place to anyone.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallExcellent
