We visited on Friday 12th July. We go every other Friday. We'd noticed Sirloin Steak had been taken from the menu. So we were both advised to order the Ribeye which had taken its place? I have absolutely no idea why as it was very poor in comparison, mine was fatty and slightly undercooked, I left more than half on my plate. I was told ' I will give your feedback to the chef '? Which to me as regular customers who spend at least £100 every visit we were very disappointed. At the end 1 pint of lager was taken from the bill which was better than nothing I guess. But overall, unsatisfied customers on this occasion.

My husband and I have eaten before at Toms Table and the food is fantastic. We came with two other friends Saturday evening and although food still fantastic the services was very disappointing. Our table was booked for 7:30pm, at 7:15pm we arrived and had a drink at the bar we then moved to our table 7:45pm with no drinks and then waited almost an hour for someone to take a drinks order. We had to twice try find someone to take our food order being told at one point “ I have two more tables before you!” Although the food can’t be faulted the atmosphere felt staff less and not the standard you would expect from this price point restaurant. We will return as you cannot fault the food, and hope for better experience next time.

Excellent choice of from sharing to snacks and Mains , Food well presented and reasonable portions , Service excellent but not over intrusive and friendly , Second visit we will be back

Lovely food at the Whitchaff - however i do feel the drinks are a little overpriced. £10.20 for a large white wine?

A wonderful restaurant , warm , friendly and family orientated , food is second to none and the chef actually made me something that was not on the menu but was on a previous menu , all in all a massive thank you to the team for a wonderful evening , i will be back again .

Visited Verdes for a lunchtime meal with friends. As always, the food was amazing and great value. Customer services is very professional and welcoming. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

We booked Site for our parents 60th wedding anniversary celebrations on Friday 12th July 2024. Everything about the evening was absolutely wonderful....food, service, atmosphere, we couldn't have asked for more. A special Tirmasu was made for our parents as a anniversary cake for us all to enjoy. Site is highly recommended for any occasion. Perfect. We can't thank Lou and team enough for making our celebration so special!

Excellent meal as usual. Four of us went to the Whitchaff on a Friday evening, great meal, friendly staff, lots of drink choice.

Food and service was spot on. Good value for money considering the dishes that were on offer. Atmosphere was great and service first class. Will eat here again!

Third time we’ve been for Friday night fizz & tapas & it does not disappoint! Everything tastes fresh, great service, lovely atmosphere & top notch service from the team! Value for money is fantastic! 2 bottles of pro secco, beer, 8 dishes, 3 sides & just under £100 for 4!!!We will of course, return!
