Verdes never lets us down and always maintains its very high standards. It was my birthday and we went for lunch with our daughter and granddaughter. As always, the food was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive and the ambience was great. It’s a beautiful restaurant in a lovely setting by the duck pond and the set lunch choices are very good value. My daughter had made some cupcakes for the occasion and it was a lovely surprise when they were brought out on a plate with a candle for me to blow out. Everyone sang ‘happy birthday’ which really made the day very special!

The goats cheese starter was absolutley fantastic and the beef and onion pie was gorgeous proper high quality pub food and well worth the price which is reasonable to begin with.

Very friendly family oriented restaurant. Pleasant staff , good varied menu . Decently stocked bar, all food competitively priced. Food arrived hot and in a timely fashion Service was very professional and quick. Overall a very pleasant evening with good food and a friendly fun area.

Love papa luigis, but as a couple we would rather not be sat next to a rowdy family, with a mother Who loved the sound of her own voice, suggestion please!! If possible have an area only for families, other restaurants operate this system, so couples like us can enjoy a quiet meal, really spoilt it for us.

Great food and service in a friendly atmosphere. We’ve been before and will eat here again when visiting the beautiful Ribble Valley.

We ate at theatre st Saturday night and as alway was delicious We had the special which was the mixed grill My favourite was the pork chop cooked to perfect Don’t get me wrong every mouthful was delicious Absolutely amazing value And the staff were delightful Very highly recommend this place We will be seeing you again soon .

Rileys Taproom and Wine Bar is an absolute gem. The beer selection was excellent, offering great variety and quality, while the wine and food were truly exceptional—each dish clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. The service stood out as well—prompt, professional, and efficient without ever feeling rushed. It really added to the overall experience. What I loved most was the ambiance: warm, welcoming, and friendly, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy great company. To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable for such a high-quality experience. Highly recommended.

Went to the quiz last night and really enjoyed it! Had a nice meal and a few drinks and the place was buzzing! Saw a few friends and altogether a great night! Food was great!
