The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallEarly Bird Dinner for two on Saturday 1st April 2023. Excellent !! The service was spot on, the staff were attentive, friendly, smiley and always there without being intrusive. Three course meal. Food was fantastic. Perfectly prepared and presented. Amazing flavours, and portion sizes were spot on. The location is so central but a lovely niche spot and quiet, . Great ambiance inside...cosy and tastefully decorated without being noisy or cramped. We are Low Moorers, so local, We have eaten in all the best restaurants in the area including Northcote and Toms Table takes top spot by a country mile in our book and is reasonably priced. Food to savour and a delightful experience. Kevin.

The Station Hotel – Lancaster03/04/23 We came a few weeks ago and had the most lovely breakfast bagel. The staff are lovely and the food is amazing. The decor is cosy but modern. Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyLovely place and excellent food at a reasonable price. However, if you are celebrating a birthday within your party, don't expect it to go to plan! 30 minutes after our main meal, we still hadn't received the birthday cake, so I had to ask at the desk if they could bring the cake for the 2 birthday celebrations within our party. They eventually brought the cake but with completely the wrong candle, which I had specially bought! Totally ruined the experience. No one came to ask if everything was alright with the meal. When we arrived no one asked if we wanted drinks. We had to go to the bar ourselves. I have been going to this restaurant for years and the standard has definitely slipped, unfortunately.
