Quattro’s – OrmskirkAnother fabulous meal in this restaurant. The food is excellent and the staff are first class!
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenAmazing! Beautiful food, great service and lovely restaurant. Will be coming again.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyGreat food steak and ale pie was to die for great service the staff was great
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeGreat food and service again at the Station hotel Nice friendly atmosphere Interesting menu Good positions The Black Pudding stack starter was fantastic
The Station Hotel – LancasterMe and my friend came with our partners and babies yesterday evening for the early birds offers. The staff couldn’t be more attentive. Food came piping hot and quick and the food was Devine! Well worth the price. The staff were incredibly polite, especially after my 6 month old grabbed the bowl of Parmesan (she’s started weaning) the male waiter was extremely forgiving and laughed it off, if you’re a mum you know it’s mortifying when things like that happen and it was nice to not be made to feel awkward about it! Thanks guys, we’ll be back again!
Papa Luigis – ChorleyGorgeous food as always and lovely staff - great place with a nice atmosphere
Anatolia Grill – St HelensWe live just a walk away from The Golden Ball and previously have avoided due to the food being 'ping cuisine'. It's a shame as the venue is full of charm and has great views across the river to Lancaster. The new owners have freshened the place up and the new menu looks fabulous. I have only had sandwiches recently (which were very good) but last Thursday went for a 'proper' meal and was very impressed. I had the fish pie and it was epic. It was packed full of chunky fish and prawns, topped with a cheesy, creamy mash and accompanied by well-cooked seasonal vegetables. My children have rated the kids spaghetti bolognaise 'better than mum's'! We are so pleased to have great pub food back and will definitely be visiting more often
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeVery friendly staff. Absolutely delighted with our choice of meals. Considering we dined on a Monday evening the restaurant was actually quite busy (which must be a good sign). Looking forward to visiting Verde's again in the very near future.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyMy Son and I go to Papas quite regularly usually early Sunday Lunch time and its great. We have never been disappointed with any meals we have ordered my son says the Tournedos Rossini is to die for but its not cheap saying that you can eat as cheap as you want or lash out The service is great I can't fault the place. What it is like at night I do not know so I can't comment on that
Papa Luigis – ChorleyWe booked a table at the Water Witch for our daughter’s birthday. The location on the canal is great. The food was delicious and the ambiance was lovely. Two of our party are allergic to gluten and great care was taken to avoid cross-contamination. The service was second to none. I can’t fault it!
The Waterwitch – LancasterAbsolutely fantastic food great atmosphere and very friendly staff really enjoyed our evening only criticism we were left a little too long before our order was taken. But thoroughly enjoyed our evening and the limoncello to finish was lovely looking forward to our next visit
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyLovely food, great atmosphere, service was first class
Toms Table – ClitheroeSuperb service, food and atmosphere.
Trawden Arms – ColneNot the best to be honest. Ordered 3 Roast Beef Dinners and although the meat was great they were let down by Yorkshire puddings that were overdone and tasted burnt, waterlogged broccoli and gravy that had bits of congealed skin on it. No check made to see if the food was ok - had to go and seek out the manager (who was the only member of the team that appeared to be doing his job) as the other 3 members of staff were having a good old chat behind the bar. Yes free desserts were offered (declined) and yes there was then a deduction off the bill but in times of financial pressures businesses need to be doing what they can to make them them a place people want to go to. Not sure I would go back.
The Waterwitch – LancasterFood is lovely, location is beautiful. Staff aren’t overly welcoming and are a little awkward. Reasonably priced, not cheap not expensive.
Whins Green KitchenService is fabulous, food is actually top. I was expecting generic bbq food and it was really lovely, obviously good products used and cooked beautifully. Really pleasantly surprised by the high standard! They also accommodated a birthday cake for a friend and didn't even charge for it. Fabulous! 10/10.
