Ellis’s – BurnleyBooked a table for 7.15pm waiting on staff took us to a table for 3 when we had booked for 4 people, told to go to bar and order drinks (bar staff looked confused why we was stood at the bar) Bar staff very friendly and professional though. We were seated at a table, middle of the room, very cold no heating. Waited around 15 mins and no one took our order, had to attract waiting on staff attention. Food arrived. All hot and tasty, wrong fries given and changed promptly. Overall the quality of Ellis’s food is just as good as it’s origin on Standish St. just need to sharpen the eating in experience and service.
Ellis’s – BurnleyLovely delicious food, friendly attention staff. Lovely ambience we took friends with us and they were very impressed and said they would de be coming again
Quattro’s – OrmskirkThank you again for such a lovely meal As it was a birthday celebration the staff were very kind and patient as it took a little while to order Thank you for that Loved the seafood and , as before, loved the lemon sorbet
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFantastic place to eat, excellent food and service, will definitely go back again soon.
Smokin Vs Real Barbecue – Preston4 of us for an early evening meal. Pleasant staff, very attentive. We opted for the meal for 2x2. All the dishes were very flavoursome and there was plenty of food. Very happy customers, thank you!
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterGreat atmosphere, lovely welcoming fire, staff were friendly and attentive, pizzas were the best and great value for money - thank you!
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenLovely food, great atmosphere. Fabulous night.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyLovely food, great atmosphere. Fabulous night.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyWas very impressed with the new layout and decor of The Whitchaff. Not quite so impressed with the lack of any vegetarian options on the menu, in this day and age with so many people opting for veggie meals I feel this was a big oversight, also, the waiting staff were a little too quick to ask if we wanted to order drinks, hadn't even got our coats off! Having said that, the food and atmosphere was great, long may it continue.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallReally enjoyed the early bird offer. Good value, staff great. Food very nice
Papa Luigis – ChorleyExcellent, friendly service. Great tasting food and our labrador loved the dog menu too!! Thanks so much!
The Station Hotel – LancasterFood and service is amazing. Ive Never had a bad meal from here .
Quattro’s – OrmskirkNestled in the fold of the Rossendale valley an old coaching house that water fed and stabled travelling men on horseback. As undergone an extensive modernisation to welcome all contemporaries for their extensive food and drinks menu, served in somewhat salubrious surroundings complete with a beer garden affording great views for summer days. Good service from helpful hostesses we enjoyed our meals washed down with a somewhat rather pricey wine if you stray from their house offerings. All in a good all rounder, don’t leave it late as kitchen closes circa 8pm.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallExcellent as always.
Papa Luigis – ChorleySuperb revamp, food was excellent would recommend. We will return.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallThis is our second visit and once again we ordered too much but ate it all. The octopus was tender and fresh, we thought the king prawn was six prawns only to move the ginger and chilli aside to discover one prawn, cut in half, it was the size of a lobster, juicy and freshly char grilled. We also had dishes we had last time, lamb ribs in bbq sauce, mushrooms in gorganzola sauce, my brothers favourite, fennel sausages and 6 fresh oysters of course. Have never had a dish we didn't like. If you like Italian tapas then this is the place to eat. Great food, great service, its not cheap but well worth the price.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWent with friends for a New Year’s Eve lunch - excellent service and atmosphere. Has the 3 course set menu which was delicious - Will definitely be returning
