The food was outstanding, but we had to wait a very long time - it was an hour and a quarter before we were given our main dishes!

Verdes is a lovely restaurant whether during the day or evening. The food is amazing and the staff are always lovely. An ideal setting for a meal for two or a bigger party.

Just love this place, a lovely rural rustic pub set in a gorgeous part of the Ribble Valley. You absolutely can’t go wrong here as along with a warm welcoming atmosphere and open fires it serves great beers, really good value home cooked meals in a cosy environment and the staff here are just second to none lovely helpful people who go above and beyond to make your visit memorable. You must give it a try as you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely beautiful Sunday Lunch

Visited Sunday 2nd Oct 5pm. Pre booked online. Lovely food. Good selection of drinks. Very welcoming and friendly pub with attentive staff. Good decor and atmosphere. Ordered Lamb Roast and Goat’s Cheese Pizza. All good especially the roast, plenty fresh vegetables and an enormous Yorkshire pudding. The whole menu looked very appetising but too full to try the desserts. Will be back for sure when next in the area. Thank you for a very pleasant experience.

Excellent food and friendly service. Had Sunday lunch with family and all of us enjoyed the lamb which was cooked to perfection and presented extremely well. I recommend without hesitation - you won't be disappointed. The sweets were also very delicious and freshly made. Will be returning very soon.

The food was AMAZING!!! The best Sunday roast I can remember having. Beef cooked to perfection and the taste of everything was spot on! Lovely atmosphere. Will be going back for sure!

Had a lovely meal on Saturday evening for 4 of us … we sat upstairs which was lovely as it was very busy downstairs … service was excellent .. very friendly our waitress was Lucy and the food was really good … a lady next to us had the tagliatelle and u certainly got a huge portion I had the fish and chips which was really good

Been coming here since it first opened and the food and service is second to none. It's fantastic having such a great place on the doorstep, and it's brilliant getting the opportunity to introduce the place to new friends from around the country (who all rave about it might I say) Keep up the fantastic work

Great food, excellent service from the lovely staff and a very welcoming atmosphere.

Very welcoming and friendly service, the pizzas and side salads were well prepared and tasty, and the grillo wine was lovely too. A great evening, and strongly recommended.

Lovely food and really enjoyed the night. Would like it to be a bit warmer and bit more cosy. Staff were friendly but could have communicated a bit more and made us feel at home more. The seating wasn’t the best and only after we’d eaten were we told that there was another room which seemed warmer and more comfortable.

We had a friends gathering of 7 people. The food and service was excellent. Fab time all round.
