My partner is a vegetarian and there wasn’t much choice or variety of options. Staff were friendly enough especially the younger ones. Nice atmosphere too. Overall the vegetarian food was disappointing though and needs to be a bit more inspiring for us to go again.

I had a wonderful evening with a friend of mine, For her it was the first time... We ate arancini, croquettes, stuffed calamari but the thing that was impressive for her was the dessert, She told me that the tropical Cuban delight was orgasmic !!! Thanks to the Chef I had a nice after evening ☺️

Very nice meal last night. Our mix of adults and children were all made to feel welcome and there was plenty of choice for us and the kids. I had to try the intriguingly named Hanging Kebab - when it came it looked spectacular and was delicious! (Tandoori chicken). Our servers were all polite and attentive - thank you to them and the chef for a memorable family occasion. David

First time,place was really lovely, sat outside cause of hot night,that in mind ,service was slow,but food was lovely. Didnt order dessert or another drink as waited a while for previous drink.

The perfect atmosphere and food. The food was homemade and cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were big and fantastic value for money. I will definitely be returning for future date nights, family events, work meals....

Just like the previous time we visited - wonderful! Which is why were so keen to come back so soon.

Excellent meal, food superb, service very efficient

Sadly, our experience of The Lodge was disappointing. We booked a table for 3 at 6pm on Tuesday 1st June. When we arrived, there was no directions at the garden opening to suggest if we needed to wait to be seated or enter the bar area to check in. A couple of members of staff were servicing, noticed us- but didn't offer any greeting or assistance. They didn't appear to be that busy but we could only see what was going on outside. We went to the bar after deciding to go for it. Upon checking in, we were offered a table inside or outside. We wanted to be outside so we were just told to sit wherever and not shown to a table. A server offered us the menu moments after we sat down in the beer Garden, and took a drinks order. These came to us within 5 minutes whilst we waited for our friend to arrive. Once our other guest arrived, the server came to take our food order. Our food arrived within 20 minutes. The food was good, however given the prices being that matching a city centre restaurant prices and we felt the portion size of meat on the Ploughman's platter was quite poor, it wasn't great value for money. We had a brief table check and a drinks order taken during. After finishing our meal, we waited, and waiting expecting for a server to come and clear the table. However, after 25 minutes of waiting, we went inside to advise that we have finish and wished to see the desert menu. After another 25 minutes, we decided to take our empty glasses to the bar ourselves and advise again, that we had finished and we wanted more drinks and deserts. Moments after, a server came to our table with a desert ment which was pretty thrown onto the table and the table cleared. Another server came over to take our desert order and exclaimed "Sorry for the bad service." We had desert delivered within 10 minutes. At this point it was 8pm. At this point we also asked for the bill. The deserts were lovely and we really enjoyed them. After the bill was issues, we expected someone to come out and table check and pay- but this didn't happen, so we went into the bar again to pay the bill. Everyone working seems reallypeeved off and not really happy to be there in our opinion.

Had another excellent meal at Papa Luigi's. The kids love the garlic bread and pizzas. An enjoyable tea with the family with super service as usual. Look forward to our next visit!

Last minute booking for 6 people which was simple to do on website. Made welcome on arrival and shown straight to table which felt safe during covid times. Attentive service and great menu choices. Meal was excellent as well. In all a good experience and would definitely go again

Food is always excellent. Service terrific. Will adapt a recipe to suit your taste if they can. Been coming to Quattros since it opened. Have all our special celebrations there. Outside eating area lovely. So lucky to have Quattros in our area.

Decent food, great service and beautiful setting. This was the first time we'd been able to eat out with our son since he moved to Lancaster for uni. We couldn't have picked a more perfect place. Highly recommend!

Great service & great food. Staff are very welcoming & the food is delicious & piping hot. Covid safe. We look forward to our next visit.

We went here bank holiday Monday it was pretty busy food was lovely and staff very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend

The entire night was amazing, the food and the service that was provided was brilliant and we couldnt have asked for a better first big date experience! Will definitely be coming again for future events!
