Just finished a beautiful homemade lasagne sat in front of a roaring fire. Food was excellent and service very good also, highly recommended!!

The best Sunday lunch in Lancaster.I have tried most places and this lovely pub restaurant stands out.Hearty localy produce freshly made,fantastic Yorkshire puddings and lovely home made gravey.Staff are friendly and helpful good selection of wine and beer.Very homely atmosphere and great value.A must if you enjoy and good Sunday lunch.

Visited recently for Sunday lunch.The interior was pleasant, if perhaps a little restrained/sterile and appeared to be very clean. Staff were attentive but not overbearing, perhaps a little more aloof than one has become accustomed to in most Thai restaurants but they were also busy setting up.The food was good, certainly above average and was well presented. There were plenty of choices, including some that I had not come across before. All were keenly priced.It was very quiet for what is usually a busy period for most restaurants. We were the only diners initially and saw just two other couples subsequently. Hopefully word will spread, as there aren't many Thai restaurants over this side of Lancashire and I think that this one has the potential to become a good one.It's in a nice location and there's plenty of free parking available. I would definitely recommend others to give it a try.

Going again to Border Rose for Xmas dinner , fantastic, went last year and we live in Skegness, family live in Halifax , but well worth the mileage ,recommend to anyone.

First visit last night as reccy before taking friends there on Sunday - staff, service, food - all memorable.

Never had a bad meal like this one, half cooked food, I asked for it to be replaced which they did for a part burn one and still frozen in the middle, call the girl over who was bl@*dy rude, NEVER going back..

If you want good food this is not the place. Over priced takes ages to arrive 45mins for starter 50 mins for main course .Starter was fine prawn cocktail main course pasta was terrible ,there is plenty of better restaurants in the area give this one a miss.

Had lunch at this restaurant saturday just gone. It was faultless! Fantastic atmosphere topped off by the live pianist. Food was excellent as always. I just wish we didn't have to drive to this restaurant, I could have stayed all afternoon with a good bottle of red! Highly recommended.

Went on Saturday 19/10/13 with our friends. Ordered the set meal for £21.95.Booked for 6.30pm.Glad we booked it for then as it was very busy by 8 pm. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely fab,could not fault it one bit.They always asked when you wanted to be served the next course of the set meal,there was no rush they kept saying. The only thing i would say was the guitar player, not got the x factor,he looked like Andy Capp from the newspaper cartoon.

My wife and I had lunch on Saturday 12th October. Lovely fresh food and very friendly staff.

Just getting ready to go once again for lunch at the border rose.We have been going once a week for years and have never had a bad meal,The service is superb and you never have to wait for the meal of your choice.

Great home made food and friendly staff will definitely be visiting again soon.

This Indian Restaurant has to be one of the best around, we eat there on average twice sometimes three times a month. The food is always excellent, even when it's packed to the rafters. Top marks to the chef who is often overlooked. The prices are good. The waiting on staff are always friendly and attentive. Keep up the good work,

Excellent restaurant, good food, lovely staff. Special offers Monday to Thursday evening. Nice roast dinner on a Sunday.

WoW a place to visit , We fell on this place on google and I was so happy we decided to go The full package from start to finish what can I say ? Only You must go and see for your self strongly recommend 10/10 for everything.
