Went to bentley wood farm for lunch today for the umpteenth time. It has recently been done up and looks very smart. The food was excellent as usual and our usual waitress Linda was bright and cheerful as ever, as were all the staff.
Bentley Wood Farm – Harvester – Burnleyfour of us went down on saturday,nice place and atmosphere but was surprised to find only one barstaff.two of us had starters,black pudding and the chefs pate which both were deemed delicious.the only thing i wasnt impressed with were the main the tbone for 12 quid wouldnt have fed my child with the ammount of meat and was tasteless and chips were soft and fatty,not for me at all.hubby said the fish was super and would eat again.my friend ordered butterfly chicken with cajun,but wasnt even spicy so maybe extra care on the meat front,out of ten id give a 4 n possibly would go again just to see if it was just a one off .
O’Marley – BlackburnI took my wife for a surprise birthday dinner and she was thrilled. The preparation and presentation of the food was memorable. Indeed, everything about the evening - from the table linen to the toilets - was of a good standard. Fine dining at an even better price, we will certainly return. Be reassured that the Crab and Lobster do not relate to the proprietors - most welcoming!

The Beaumont – ChorleyI attended your restaurant as a member of a hen party on 30/6/2012. I found the restaurant to be a very nice establishment and the decor was lovely. The food was absolutely delicious, nicely presented and was piping hot when delivered to our tables. We had previously booked our food and didn't have to wait very long for the starters to be served after sitting down at the tables. The other coursed were delivered as soon as the previous courses were completed too. The staff were some of the best waiters and waitresses I had ever seen working, and were very very polite. Anybody looking for somewhere to have a meal will certainly do themselves justice going to TINOS!!!!!!!!!!!
Tinos – PrestonWe were taken there last night by brother and wife as a treat, it was the worst meal, the worst service, also overcharged for coffees and desserts that were not ordered,served by schoolchildren and grossly overpriced.£19.50 for a steak in a restaurant with no atmosphere or ambiance rip off!!Think again Mr Haworth as this is letting your name down badly,never ever will we return.Our advise to other diners CHECK your bill.Disgraceful
Clog and Billycock – BlackburnThe staff are great the food is fantastic and of an unusually high standard for a restaurant with a set price for as much as you can eat. My daughter aged 7 got extra special treatment which she loved and now she always wants to eat there.I highly recommend it for both meat eaters and veggies.

Yates – Lancaster13 friends and I visited New Seasons on Saturday night and requested a room upstairs so we could all sit together. The room was lovely and it was great to have a private room. We're all in our thirties and don't consider ourselves particularly 'snobbish' but I can't help but feel that New Seasons fails almost every time on service. After an extremely young (16 years old?) waiter took our order (some cocktails, some beer), we waited 10 minutes only to be told by another waiter that cocktails were not served during restaurant hours so we must choose something else. He hurried off and left us with the younger waiter who unfortunately was grilled as to when the cocktails are served (he didn't know), who by ("a man comes in and does them") and that was that. So, another 10 minutes passes before anybody gets a drink. We asked him for food menus and waited another 5 minutes. He produced 2 menus, for a table of 14 people. We asked for more, he said that all he had at the moment. We had to chase drinks numerous times, ask about 4 times for music to be turned on, and again for more menus. Then came the food. I cannot fault my meal in any way. It was delicious! I cannot fault it for quality. I had the shish taouk to start (lovely!) and the fillet steak stroganoff with rice (Very tasty) but I do know that others waited up to 8 minutes for the accompanying rice and again had to chase it a few times. The restaurant surprised me with a lovely dessert and candles and all sang happy birthday which is a lovely touch. I just wish the rest of the service was as thoughtful and considerate. One member of our party had finished her dish before it's accompanying rice arrived. We will of course return to New Seasons as it is lovely food and surroundings. I'd just love them to improve on the competency of the waiting staff.

GET RIDD OF THE YOUR FROZEN RUBBISH, CHEAP WINES AND OUT OF DATE BEER.
