The Fernhurst – BlackburnWent here with the boyfriend on a Saturday night, arrived at 8pm without a booking but was seated with our first course by 8.45pm. We ordered the set meal menu 2. IT WAS HUGE! Lovely cold platter of meats, cheese, garlic bread (yum), olives accompanied by chilli potatoes. Then the tapas - four dishes AND paella of the day (which was chicken when we went). We arrived really hungry and left in pain we had eaten so much. The food was delicious and we didn't want to leave any. Highly recommended! Friendly staff, big portions, good quality and good value!
Casa Tapas – RawtenstallPotted shrimps to die for!!!!
Newdrop Inn – LongridgeThe best curries in the world!!!!!!! keep it up.....
Balti House – BlackburnVery upset - been going to Carlos for many years with my family. Last Sunday myself and my boyfriend visited the restaurant and were left standing in the foyer for 10 minutes. No body acknowledged us or spoke to us about a table. We were totally ignored and felt that our custom was unimportant due to the fact they were busy.
Carlos – ColneThe food is absolutely brilliant with excellent portion sizes that are mouthwateringly tasty. The service and waitresses can not be faulted in the slightest. When you walk in the pub you get a welcoming vibe from everyone around you and I would definetly recommend a visit. Particulary on the chip shop nights( Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) when you can get tasty meals for just £5.50. Your missing out if you do not visit!!!!!!!!!!
The Alston – LongridgeFriendly and special. My favourite watering hole in Preston. Wonderful selection of Teas. I try a different one each time and have not been disappointed yet. Everyone should try it. I have recommended it to anyone who likes Tea. Its worth the little walk down Cannon Street.
Mystery Tea House – PrestonI love this place, we always go for special occasions. The food is beautiful and the staff are so welcoming, so I have booked Hong Sing for my wedding! 10/10
I recommend King Karai to everyone. Its the best Indian restaurant in Lancashire. The staff are brilliant. Babu is a perfect gent. You get the same excellent standard whether you eat in or have a take away.
King Karai – PrestonJust ate at this restaurant with 20 family members found food and service excellent value for money ,We will definitely be going back here again and again.
What a surprise a real little gem. Decor, service, food well what can I say. Mixed starter, amazing array of starters. Balti Robja for main with the most amazing nan with garlic, lemon rice, washed down with Cobra beer, well worth the money.
Shapla Restaurant – BurnleyA fantastic place with delicious food. I loved it! Will be back soon.
Trishna Indian Tandoori Restaurant – Clitheroemanager/ owner is really friendly and funny, staff are fairly efficeint and friendly, you can see the kitchen from the restaurant which gives a nice open feel. It's always busy with a fun atmosphere. Food is good, drinks are v pricey, parking is adequate. Sadly you can't tip your waiter as they pool all tips with all staff incl management/ cleaners etc. Makes me reluctant to tip as I prefer to tip directly and proportionately to how well I was served and looked after. Love it here though and I go on a regular basis.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyAlways good value lite bites and Thursday steak nights. Good atmosphere with roaring fire in winter.
Farmers Arms and Glasshouse Restaurant – OrmskirkFantastic atmosphere and food , will be returning
Royal Hotel – CarnforthI have been in Burnley Chinese buffet first and last time. We went there on saturday during the day and there was no customers inside only us three. I felt strange, there was no a lot choice in food, all food was about 5 table spoons of all dishes, so when we empty it they bring another 5 table spoons. Sorry but this is the worst chinese buffet in Lancashire and I have been in quite few. Not recommended
Oriental Buffet Restaurant – BurnleyExcellent value for money and staff very polite and helpful
The Field Fare – ChorleyFood has improved in the last 6 Months with a new Chef. Chef likes to meet diners when food is presented. Not the best but good enough to try.
