Pendle Inn – Burnleybooked for 19.45 Saturday last arrived introduced ourselves and said we had booked ,we were then told to find a table not shown so off we went got to the table waited five mins no menus got up and had to ask for them at this point waitress said i will come and ask what drinks we would like ten mins later she arrived ,ordered starters ,they came and were ok the mains followed max asked for the pork which said it was served with potatoes but came with chips but as we thought we were lucky to get the food we didn't complain myself i got stake i wanted medium rare which it was but not as hot as id have liked i also ordered a pepper sauce but again i had to get up and ask for it drinks ordered again but never came until we had to ask again plates left for some time before being taken away puddings ordered and came both were very good .all in all food was good but what really lets this place down is the service this was the second time we had been to the goose and service was as bad last time ,we wont be going again
The Sitting Goose – Prestonthe best Indian food i will tell every one i know to come and eat kashti the best service best beers and half price meal and drinks Monday 2 thursday love kale is the man can make happen in Preston xxxxxxxxxx
Kashti – PrestonHad our first visit to the Double Tree sat night while visiting my daughter who's at Preston Uni. Service was great and the meal was fantastic with a great choice and something a bit different on offer. Will definitely go back in the new year when we next visit. Would highly recommend it.
Double Tree Indian Restaurant – PrestonWe used to visit P & Ps a lot, but we really have been disappointed the last few times. The music is so loud that you cannot hear your guests and we had to ask them to turn it down in the past. We went Friday 25/11/2011 and someone else had to ask for it to be turned down. You go for a nice meal and relaxation, not a disco. Pizzas there are normally spot on but were quite soggy this time.
Parmesan And Pepper – ChorleyI have been to the Italian Cottage a number of time recently both alone and with friends and have never been disappointed. The delightful ambience, the service is excellent, attentive without being overpowering and ,of course, the food both Italian and English menus are all top of the range; can't fault it in any way.Even in today's difficult economic circumstances they are always busy; surely testament to its quality. It is advisable to book.Jonjo.
Italian Cottage – ChorleyOcean Palace is the best the food is always very good never disappointing and the staff are always very welcoming
Ocean Palace – DarwenAn absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! The surroundings are plush and welcoming. The food is outstanding, as are the staff and the evening was altogether fabulous.
Nellie The Elephant – PrestonExcellent meal, good value for food quality, very friendly and efficient staff. Well worth a visit.
Tiggis Pizzeria – PrestonMy sister and I had lunch on the 16/11/2011 and they had a lunch time special for £3.95, between 12 - 3pm mon - Sat.The choice was a list of about 10 dinners, I opted for fish and chips with homemade batter and chips.I was really impresses the fish was lovely the same fish would have cost between £8.00 and £13.00 in other places I have eaten at.it as really tasty my sister had the liver and onions and she enjoyed it. If you want a home cooked meal for less than a fiver get down to the Hare and Hounds! they had other offers on 2 meals for a tenner and the have a Xmas special on 3 courses for £9.99. I certainly will be going back.
Hare and Hounds – AccringtonI've been to Jade Gardens twice and i have found the staff very friendly and the food delicious. The food isn't as fatty as most Chinese restaurants and the food is fast to come to the table. The menu is fairly cheap and not too expensive. There is also a bar which is good too for pre- drinks before your meal.
Jade Gardens – AccringtonWent to Truffles in October 2011. What a fantastic find. We had a superb meal and found everyone pleasant and attentive. The chef/patron James deserves to do well and if you haven't tried this restaurant yet - why not!!!!!
Truffles – ChorleyI have never been to the great land but I is the best restaurant ever because Winston lives there
Great Land Cantonese Restaurant – ClitheroeTop restaurant, the food here is the best in Lancashire, give them a try you wont be disappointed.
Kashti – PrestonWe have been new season tapas and cocktail bar last week we had fantastic atmosphere the staff was so friendly and service was so good there was a guy from turkey he was so good at his job and work so hard he does an excellent job in there
Seasons – ChorleyI Love, Love, Love this place. 2 of us went for Saturday lunch taking advantage of the £5 off voucher and a flawless lunch was had. Service was tip top, the asst sommelier made a couple of great choices for me. I started off as I always start off with the signature blackpudding, trout with a mustard nettle sauce, Mum had the parsnip soup which was also a winner. The bread is fantastic and never ending. Main course we both had the loin of veal with swede, spinach, shallots and Jus. The veal being tender and tasty. Finally we opted for the apple trifle and roasted pears with rice pudding. A resounding success. See you on Boxing day.
