Italian Cottage – ChorleyVisit the chippy every Monday and Thursday eve. Nice chips, fish, pies and gravy. Recommended and worth a visit.
Ilex Chippy – RawtenstallBeautiful food, friendly service and definitely a place to visit if you enjoy quality Chinese food! It was very quiet when we visited today at lunchtime, and it's a case of use it or lose it, so get yourselves down there!!
Sun Dragon – RawtenstallExcellent food
Taste Of India – BlackburnDined at Tiggis last week at lunch time with grand parents and 2 children.Food was the standard which has come to be expected from them! Excellent!! The bill was also very reasonable with the lunch time menu and the children thoroughly enjoyed their food. All in all a great experience and will definitely be going back!
Tiggis on the A59 – BlackburnWe recently had my wife's birthday party at Bangla Fusion and right from the offset the team were very accommodating and took on board all our requests. We had about 50 guests so it was a tough task for them to ensure all the food came out in a timely manor. I am happy to say that it did and as usual the food was excellent. We have eaten in many Indian Restaurants and Bangla Fusion is definitely near the top in our ratings. The team are very friendly and always make you feel right at home. The waiters are very sociable and are always good fun to talk to. All in all I cannot thank them enough for making the evening so special and additionally I really would recommend that you give them a try!
Nellie The Elephant – PrestonFood is amazing! I really enjoyed the cuisine and was impressed by the service. I can gladly say I have been there twice and shall strike again to explore more dishes. As an Indian restaurant they sure served some great classic desserts. Definitely 5 stars! & I would definitely recommend it!
North Street Indian Restaurant – RawtenstallJust had our first visit to Ocean Palace after finding on Sugarvine and we are super stuffed and v happy after a tip top meal. Bank holiday so set meal not on however after prawn crackers, starter each (2 of us) main meal half rice half chips and 2.5 pints a final bill of just over £45 was excellent and the volume of food as main course was extra impressive and extra tasty. It is the first time we have tried crispy beef where the predominant flavour has been beef and not batter and not much else - the sweet and sour was actually proper decent chunks of chicken. Was v busy and good atmosphere and the team there were on the ball with courses customer care and food knowledge. We will be back.
Ocean Palace – DarwenTried the sirloin inn for Sunday lunch following there recent refurbishment for the first time. First impressions were pleasing, very polite staff, nice and clean, and a good selection of cask ales. I chose the steak pie with mash and seasonal veg while my partner chose the Sunday roast which was beef. After a 30 minute wait we were presented with what was probably the smallest portions of food we have had whilst dining out.admittedly the food was very good but what's with the micro portions at maximum prices! Also I feel the service requires work as it was slow to say the least with just a few people dining. All in all a enjoyable afternoon out, I would return but feel everything needs to bed in first.
The Sirloin Inn – PrestonWhat a gem of a restaurant! Went to casa tapas on saturday night for my wife's 30th birthday. We were a party of 20, so i was a bit worried as to how it would work with so many people (we had pre-ordered around 60-70 hot Tapas!). I had no need to fear, everything went great. the atmosphere of the restaurant is great, the staff very accomodating and the food is superb - our uncle (who is from Almeria) said it was up there with the most authentic spanish food he'd had in England. Try it and find out for yourself!
Casa Tapas – RawtenstallI'd read all the previous comments about this restaurant and still decided to give it a try. I went with two of my friends as we were celebrating our birthdays and I have to say our experience from start to end was fantastic......from well mannered staff who took my reservation over the phone to the waiters who attended to us during our meal. For £6.95 you can have a starter and a main course or pizza or pasta dish. The portions are really good and the food was delicious. It was well worth a visit and if I'm in Ormskirk again I would definitely go again.
Antonio’s – Ormskirkvery good food, beats the rest!!! I'm James go there every night when I want, can't cook and need some fatty food good for me hehe, yum but I need to loose weight:( weight watchers here I come!!!
J-Seas Finest Fish and Chips – ChorleySimply Brilliant, but could you vary the veggie menu a bit.
The Continental – PrestonExcellent, the best, my mouth waters at the thought of it. I will be there again and again.
Amelies – Chorleyvery enjoyable evening would highly recommed
The Sirloin Inn – PrestonExcellent. Have eaten several times and it always impresses with outstanding seasonal food. Stunning value for money, especially midweek lunch. Although we are 30 miles away, this is our favourite place to eat and look forward to our next visit.
Freemasons At Wiswell – ClitheroeDined here at lunch last week. Had a really excellent 3 course meal with real finesse. Wines to match each course and great service. The place has won awards for its refurb and rightly so. Even though we live about 40 mins away we will return as often as possible.
Freemasons At Wiswell – Clitheroeregular visitors, always amazing food and service!
