Spice Essence – Kirkby LonsdaleExcellent very nice and friendly staff and great lunch time menu from £5.99
Yu Yuan City Chinese Restaurant – St HelensWe have always had an excellent meal at the Calfs Head everyone is very friendly we always recommend family and friends to visit.
Calfs Head – ClitheroeWent here for an impromptu pub lunch with the girlfriend on a Saturday, i had the ULTIMATE burger and she had the chicken new yorker, both came with chips, and what a portion of chips large chunky chips at other pubs you would only get 6 stacked jenga style the portions were very generous and the food was cooked fantastically, good selection of real ale and a very nice environment to eat it, will definitely be going back again
Dressers Arms – ChorleyWe called in on Sunday 15 April with friend and have a fantastic meal , beautiful place and very clean and friendly we will defo go back when we are next over thank you x
Honey Tree – Morecambetop food top manager chaand top man shaju top lady mrs shamim bhabi,,,,,,what more can i say????????????
Shajan – BlackburnSo amazing! 1st visit and best meal out we (family) had in a long time! Fantastic meet and greet, superb atmosphere, waiters really friendly, superb service, excellent food (still drooling) what more can i say Never knew Chorley had a hidden gem! Will def be visiting again.
Italian Cottage – ChorleyI seem to have been eating out a lot lately and the Grapes stills delivers on quality. I particularly like the fact that you can eat away from the main restaurant and be closer to the bar and eat a heck of a lot cheaper. Liver and bacon!!!
Grapes Inn – PrestonGF loves the mushroom rice, to the extent that even if we pop in for a quick 'go on..just one chicken nan wrap on the way home to share' we still end up with a mushroom rice. Nice staff. Nice range of curries too. Nice helpings and reasonable takeaway prices.
Cinnamon Spice – PrestonWent with a groupon voucher and ordered our 7 tapas between 2 of us The Portuguese waiter was a little stern at first. We thought it was because we had purchased a groupon deal. We paid the extra for 4 of us and felt as if it wasn't correct after checking. 3 out of 4 of us had bad stomachs the day after therefore very disappointed with the cleanliness of this place. Don`t feel as if we could go back. Sorry !!
Seasons – ChorleyCame here for the first time on Mother's Day, after having eaten at their sister restaurant Duk on birthday & my mother having remarked at the time how wonderful the food was. The decor here was fabulous & the food was as delicious as expected, if not more so!
Duk-Pond – PrestonA little Portugeuse/ Caribbean restaurant/take away near the university. My friend and I happened upon it by accident, and are so glad we did. The food is amazing, great sized portions, seemed to be all fresh and made right in front of you...I think by the family who own it.We had the saltfish fritters and a huge beef burrito with all the trimmings.I think the fritters were £2,50 and the burrito was £3.00. It`s one of those fantastic finds that you can sometimes make on holiday, and you go to every night after that. It`s only open til half seven unfortunately, so more of a lunchtime place, but totally worth a trip to that side of Preston.
Cocos Soul Food – PrestonA fantastic restaurant of the quality that you would expect somewhere like London. The chateaubriand was absolutely amazing. It`s about sixty mile round trip for us, but we still go when we can. It`s definitely worth travelling to.
Truffles – ChorleyFab food, warm and welcoming, great atmosphere and service. not local for us but worth the drive out in a lovely spot, definitely will be returning.
Assheton Arms – ClitheroeA favorite of our family never tasted food as lovely as this always look forward to going there fast service and friendly staff 10/10 keep up the good work and we will keep coming back :o)
Was recommended by a friend, so took the family (inc 2 young kids) to try it out. There was an offer for £1 kids meals on the day we went and after speaking with a member of staff (who explained that the £1 meals included free drinks) ordered our meals to take advantage of this offer. Meals arrived quickly and were a fair representation of the price. Upon paying our bill we were told we were not eligible for the £1 kids meals or the free drinks and were given 3 different explanations from different members of staff. Staff did not seem to understand the prices on the menu or the details of the offers. We were not offered a refund or any good will gesture, despite being wrongly advised from staff members. I also enquired about the function room, but the member of staff failed to return with any information. Good food for price, poor service and staff.
The Fernhurst – BlackburnJust had a lovely meal .The haggis and black pud starter was the best we have ever tasted .Our main was so delish also ,thank you Lorraine and Darren we will be back ..............................
Midge Hall – LeylandBrilliant food. Claims to be Mediterranean but is a good mix of Greek Turkish and Italian. Menu has a good range and prices are excellent. The quality of the food is very good indeed but beware - some portions are huge! Above all the staff were brilliant. Charming, helpful and very friendly. A great value little local restaurant.
