Good food, relaxed environment and reasonably priced, especially the set dinners. Great for parties or a night out, not so suitable for a night of romance.

Windmill Hotel – BlackburnI didn? go there before but when I found out it changed hands and people recommended it to me so I went and gave it a try .The whole place has changed beautifully refurbished, very clean, friendly staff, so helpful, menu spoils you for choice. Placed my order with Hussain a great person. The food was so delicious. Never tasted before. Best in town. Great work keep it up I will recommend Balti House to all who live to eat. Ps
Balti House – BlackburnWould go again, servings very big, not expensive and if you go mon-wed they do special offers for 2 eating together
Windmill Hotel – BlackburnA very enjoyable place to eat with a pleasant atmosphere. There is a very wide menu including the usual pizzas and pastas. We all had different pastas and enjoyed them all. Good wine list at sensible prices. We will definitely go back.
Aldo Due – BurnleyThese guys rock. They deliver, they sort out the order in a polite fashion on the phone, AND the food tastes great! Give them a call and you won't regret it.
Balti House – BlackburnWow what a brilliant food. It? the best takeaway in Lancashire I think and service very posh.
Titash Tandoori – PrestonThis is a great place to dine in, good food, friendly staff, and nice place to eat...I really enjoy my dine out in buffet @ Preston.
Buffet@Preston – PrestonExcellent food using the best produce sourced specifically. The presentation and the quality of the food and the cooking skills were superb. I have been several times and the chef has demonstrated his ability to perfect, fish, steak, scallops and above all lamb. Surroundings and staff very very good. A good oaked Chablis or Ch?au Neuf De Pape White added to the wine list would increase the 10/10 to an 11/10.
Thyme and Plaice – ChorleyWoW what can I say but very very good food and genuine polite service. The restaurant area is quite large with seating for groups too, food presentation is very well thought out too, it makes me feel a bit peckish every time I think of this restaurant, price is good less than £10 per head for main course.
The Lodge – LancasterAfter a days shooting 10 of us had a great meal at Avanti. The quality of service was outstanding and very friendly. The venue is surprisingly contempory considering its in the country and prices are reasonable.
Avanti Restaurant – Kirkby LonsdaleThis is going to go in the top 5 of places to eat out, the service deserves tipping (as I did) and the food was absolutely out of this world, there is lots of seating and the atmosphere is not ruined by smokers. Try it out you will not be disappointed!
The Lodge – LancasterI can concur with the previous report that the food was outstanding. My partner pointed out though that the food had a little to much salt....... Will be returning as its the best Chinese food I have tasted for a long time.
Great Land Cantonese Restaurant – ClitheroeWe have been twice now - the first time (Saturday night) was wonderful, lovely food and great service. It was a lovely romantic dinner. There was a lovely big "fire" in the middle which looked lovely but it did make the restaurant very hot (sit in the conservatory if you suffer from over heating like me) We can recommend the sirloin steak with the tomato and garlic sauce on. The second time we went was early on a Tuesday evening and we were disappointed as the service was not as good, there were lots of people wearing casual clothes and the atmosphere just wasn't the same - probably due to time of year. Food was still excellent. Would definitely recommend on a Friday/Saturday evening late on (book first).
Alghero – ChorleyWhat a great find! Lovely place to go for lunch, every meal I?e had has been lovely, seems a very popular cafe with lots of regulars. Don? be put off by the fact that the chef and majority of staff aren't English; the very English meals are great.
Muffins – BlackburnGorgeous, well presented food, at average restaurant prices, with good service, that allows you to eat your meal in peace, the only minor issue is the decor, very open plan and at busy times can feel slightly school dinnerish. Overall lovely.
Sagar Premier – PrestonYes it is very small but customers are welcome to wait in the pub across the road. Despite like being in someone else? living room the food is excellent.
Guide Village Restaurant – Blackburnbrilliant, best curry house for miles. i once ordered a curry that was too hot for me and they replaced it free of charge after watching me struggle!
