I have visited this restaurant many times; the food is always good and the staff friendly. Although the website says it is an old Methodist Church, it was built as a United Methodist Church but became a Pentecostal Church in the 1950's until it finally closed on Easter Sunday 1986. I used to attend this church in the days on a regular basis!

Three of us went for a meal at The Station last night (31/08/22), which was about the third time in 10-12 weeks. Excellent ales, seems a very genuine place, various old train memorabilia around. Food was very good, prompt (we had pre-booked) and they even went the extra mile for our friend who requested vegetarian gravy with her cheese pie and chips - quality service there. Will almost certainly return, and can recommend.

Lovely lunch at The Station yesterday. Very good, friendly service. Nice cosy atmosphere.

Excellent food and Excellent service

We asked for 2 starters (Chicken wings and halloumi fries) and the tasting beer board. The prices were ok, but nothing really special about the food. Chiken wings were quite spicy (not much my taste). The beers were warm. There's no QR code to order, you need to go to the counter. I made a reservation but there were tables available by the river on a Sunday evening. The terrace was nice, we had a beautiful view. But since this was the only perk of the place, I have no intentions of comming back.

First time visitor. The place is clean and tables are well spaced out. Atmosphere was good. Food was fine but we waited very long for it. Probably wil go again to give them the benefit of the doubt with the timing issue.

The food at the Water Witch was absolutely gorgeous. The only downside of the visit was the price for a bottle of wine..... very expensive.

Booked a table.... No table reserved! Table 20 was dirty and not cleaned Food was ok but not outstanding The staff were thoroughly miserable and looked overworked on a busy day but all need to go on a hospitality and how to greet customers course the bar was overun

A return visit, this time with friends. The food was just as good as first time around when we had the seafood platter for 2, fabulous. On this occasion our guests ordered the platter on our recommendation, they weren't disappointed . For a change we chose small seafood platter and the tomato dish with the poached eggs, gorgous. Lovely chenin blanc wine and excellent desserts. service was friendly and efficient a good night out enjoyed by all We found the piped music too loud but at our request it was turned down to a better level for conversation

Food is delicious every time. Love the atmosphere, friendly staff, and consistently immense food. So so good!

Great canal side pub, excellent food and dog friendly

Great service and lovely food. Really nice place for a decent lunch. Will be returning for an afternoon tea I think!

Food was amazing, only thing I didn’t like was the crushed peas. Cocktails were too nice I had to force myself to not order anymore. Will definitely be returning

Lovely as always! The atmosphere is always nice and the interior is cosy and warm. The cocktails are amazing as always and the food was very tasty. We were served by Evie and she was so kind and caring towards our service. We will definitely be back again as this is a new favourite for us.

Great meal and such a friendly, accomodating team. Both myself and my partner have allergies and dietary requirements and we were so impressed by the Gluten free menu and the way the staff managed our orders and made alterations for us. Our food was delicious too!

Great food, fantastic value.

Service great, food not so great. Starter of fish cakes was a bit dry, needs a chilli sauce to accompany it. Main of tagliatelle was far too salty and in my opinion too any herbs added to what should have been an excellent main course.
