We visited last night with another couple for an evening meal.The restaurant is really lovely and has been sympathetically restored creating a ambient atmosphere. The service was spot on and and the waitresses were very attentive and checked on us a few times throughout the meal.We had the meat sharing platter and some nachos to start which were really good.I chose the steak sandwich for my main.The steak was beautifully cooked and really tasty,however,it was served in sourdough bread and for me it didn’t work as the bread was quite soggy. Value for money was good with the bill coming in at £90 for four which included a couple of cocktails.Overall a good meal and would definitely visit again.

Fabulous Sunday lunch and great value

The customer service was very good. . Food was disappointing. Lamb Biryani was very bland and very dry. Lamb chops had too much fat on them and did not taste very nice. Lamb kebabs and chicken tikka were too dry. The curries were also disappointing all three curries we ordered, more or less tasted the same with the same sort of masala in them. Overall we were very disappointed with the food.

Had a lovely meal, as always, for Dads birthday. Excellent friendly service and lovely pub food. Lovely interior & atmosphere too. Can’t fault it. The 10oz gammon in particular was excellent. My 5 year old also enjoyed his kids meal & ice cream.

My wife and I went to Sydney’s for a surprise birthday meal - the staff wished me a happy birthday, which was a nice touch, and we got a lovely cosy corner booth as a little extra treat. Ambiance was lovely – low mood lighting and classy décor. The food was wonderful, and beautifully presented; we were both happily stuffed and extremely satisfied with everything. Special mention to our waitress, Jayne – service with a friendly smile and conversation – “Thank you” for making or visit so lovely.

This is a unique p lace to eat and enjoy your evening. The food is very good and authentic and the staff are friendly and efficient. We visit the restaurant every time we visit Lancaster and are never disappointed. We really love the fabulous decor.

Always have a lovely meal at the Station. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Never disappointed.

Good good and ambiance, good customer service, especially by Iky, Muhammad and the young lady that served us.

Perfick weather to sit outside and catch up with friends. Food as always was lovely especially the pizzas. We will be back.

Nice venue, lovely food, really friendly staff but service a little slow; we weren't in any rush, so not really a problem.

We had a fantastic meal here, great Indian food! Service was great, and they accommodated our preference for Vegan options very well. Highly recommend.

We booked the Station Hotel whilst we were staying in the area having looked for somewhere to eat and reading reviews. We were not disappointed. The welcome was perfect, the table ready, service first class and the food was excellent. We would certainly recommend them, and we will return when we stay in the area again.

Very good food and service, would highly recommend going here, also a nice selection of ales and local ales
