Being from Australia I was unaware of the Maypole pub but by chance found myself there for dinner and I must say it was one of the best meals I have had. Lovely staff and lovely pub highly recommend.

Stunning. Been for tacos and the breakfast and both amazing. Everything we had was so so tasty. Recommend to everyone!

A newly discovered venue which was unexpectedly excellent in terms of quality of menu and price range plus all of the staff were most attentive and professional. Would advise missing the time either side of 6pm as it can get rather noisy, especially with young families. One other (minor) thing and that is we felt that the ratio between the chairs and the tables wasn't quite right. There appears to be a slight mis-match between the two with, perhaps the tables being just an inch or so too high for the seating.

Booked this for a early birthday celebration and it was so cosy in the place felt really welcomed by all the staff members that were working that day Picked up some little bits and pieces from the merch section as well which are really lovely pieces too Really enjoyed the coffee and cake that was served really cant wait to go again

Lovely lunch here yesterday with friendly service and really good food. Catered for my Coeliac husband with no fuss and good choices. If you ever made the squid starter gluten free....he'd be your friend for life!!

Such welcoming atmosphere from the greeting all the way to goodbyes. Staff are very friendly, kitties are relaxed and playful with loads of space to roam and walkways to climb. We were given snacks to give out and we're allowed to move around the place interacting with cats freely. Tea from a local supplier and cake were delicious too :3 Thank you for a lovely time ≽(•⩊ •マ≼

Found this lovely place on the final afternoon of our two week holiday.... The food was exceptional pub/restaurant fare. Using locally sourced produce. Great local beers and ciders on offer too. The ladies working the bar and waiting on were attentive and professional. Will definitely go there again, as it was wonderful. Thank you.

Two excellent evening meals at the King’s Arms - good food, lovely staff and nice atmosphere. Can thoroughly recommend it.

Delicious food and excellent service. Can’t fault anything

Pre booked, arrived really early, our table wasn’t ready but we were able to wait and the staff got us drinks and some peppers for the table (tasted amazing). The atmosphere was nice, and the staff were friendly. Didn't feel rushed. But was unclear if we could pay at the table or down at the counter. As we hadn’t eaten a lot of Mexican style food we had to google some of the dishes to know what we were going to be eating. The beef Birria tacos was very spicy, we could take the heat - but it masked all other flavours. We needed the Patatas con tajin to take some of the heat away after each mouthful. The potatoes were lovely, cooked really well, soft but crispy outside. The roast chicken taco was lacking in flavour. The chips and dips were ok, but again the dips lacked flavour. Everything was clearly homemade, and good ingredients used. The lemon ice tea was lovely. Overall everything looked amazing, but the flavours didn’t back it up. Would possibly go again to try other dishes as the ingredients were good. Toilet was clean, tidy and liked that they used sustainable products.

First time I had been to Le Bistro after living in Skipton for 5 yrs. Overall it was a pretty good experience for all the family. The staff were attentive and worked hard all evening

Went for a ork night out, there were 24 of us, the service was fantastic, the food absolutely gorgeou - I highly reccomend the surf and turf pasta (i asked for creamy tomato sauce rather than cajun) was stunning!! Would definately go back

Absolutely brilliant. Very tasty indeed. Loved the sticky chilly chicken and the aubergine dish. The cookie caramel dessert was delicious. Nice decor. Friendly sevice.

Really great service from the staff and the food was delicious. Great format and you can have as much or as little as you like and reasonably priced considering the quality of the food. Plenty of parking nearby ( beware traffic wardens are still checking for tickets in the early evening). Would recommend if you are staying in Ilkley.
