The Aegean Taverna – HullOur party of 7 had 3 evening meals over the New Year period. Every meal was perfect, the food was of excellent quality and cooked beautifully. The restaurant staff, who varied each night, were friendly, courteous and very accommodating. We all had a very enjoyable break, thank you.

Tocketts Mill Country Park and Restaurant – GuisboroughWe didnt enjoy our visit to Tabby Teas as we never arrived due to terrible weather conditions ( black ice). We emailed 3 times to try and reorganise but as of yet no one has replied. They took our money though so we are not very happy about it!

Maxis – YorkVery accommodating for a party of 7 with 3 labradors, and a GF and vegetarian in the group - all suitably catered for. Very warm welcome and service in a warm and welcoming pub. Food is excellent - the best beef roast dinner I know of in the area and desserts are excellent - pricey but very good size! We were asked to pre-order but that's perfectly ok and helped make things run very smoothly on the day - especially as we were booked late pm on a Sunday. Couldn't recommend it highly enough - 4th visit and loved it every time! Its not the cheapest meal but if you like high quality, delicious food then you wont be disappointed and we will certainly be back again sometime soon.

Banarasi – HullMe and my boyfriend went there around 17:30 so it was coming close to closing hours, the cats were still lively and playing whilst a couple were peacefully catnapping, namely John, cough. It was a really fun time and the cats were incredibly soft and looked after coat wise. We were given chicken to feed them twice which incurred a cat stampede and they were so gentle to take the chicken off of me (except one, you know who you are). My boyfriend was given a laser to use for the cats and he had such a fun time making them dizzy, poor things (Sorry Winston!!). They also chased the laser onto their wheel which was so funny to watch, if I was a cat I’d love that thing. We didn’t get any foods or drinks but they looked very pretty and delicious so I assume they are! Staff were super kind and interactive with the cats and the cats are constantly chasing them for attention which shows a sign of affection and trust already. Overall a lovely time!

Occasionally we go as a family of 9 grandchildren and 9 adults, the craven staff cope with 2 or 18 always very good, food , customer service and welcome. We also recommend this place for meals out from our Airbnb in Giggleswick as it is so good!
Craven Arms – SettleReally warm welcome and that friendliness continued throughout our visit. The food is fantastic and I only wish I had room to try some more of the dishes. Will definitely be back to complete the menu.
