I went to Tabby Teas with two of my friends and we really enjoyed it. The cats were friendly and well looked after, the food and drinks were great and the service was fast and the people working there (probably the owners), were absolutely lovely. I’d recommend going at least once because I guarantee you’ll want to come back, I certainly do!

Thank you for a lovely family meal at Tocketts Mill. We all enjoyed our food especially the puddings. Service was very good. The only potential difficulty was access to a disabled toilet. Fortunately this was not a difficulty at this time .

My parents and grandparents visiting from Scotland were keen to eat at a nice restaurant and Le Bistro did not disappoint! Everybody loved the meals and were especially impressed with the presentation! Lovely restaurant to sit in and the staff were very friendly. Excellent choice of meals and deserts, and all of us enjoyed the various dishes we ordered.

Great food and service. The lamb as Sunday lunch was cooked to perfection. The team really do look after you.

Ømni, Malton — A Hidden Gem in Yorkshire’s Food Capital ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you haven’t yet made the trip to Ømni in Malton, let me save you any further hesitation — go. Just go. We visited on a whim one evening and were immediately struck by the venue itself. Ømni has a genuinely cool, contemporary feel that sets it apart from much of what you’d expect in a market town. The interiors are considered and stylish — the kind of place that feels effortlessly trendy without trying too hard. It made for a great atmosphere from the moment we walked in. The food was, quite simply, excellent. Every dish was well-crafted, beautifully presented and packed with flavour. You could tell real thought had gone into the menu — this isn’t food that plays it safe, and it’s all the better for it. What surprised us most, though, was the price. For the quality on the plate, it felt remarkably reasonable — genuine value in a world where too many restaurants charge a premium for very little. The drinks menu deserves a mention of its own. Cocktails were inventive and well-made, and the overall selection complemented the food perfectly. A strong offering that kept the evening flowing brilliantly. But honestly? What elevated the whole experience was the service. Warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly — the kind of staff who make you feel like a welcome guest rather than just a table number. Nothing felt rushed, nothing felt overlooked. Malton has long had a reputation as Yorkshire’s food capital, and Ømni is a fine reason why that reputation holds. Whether you’re local or making a special trip, it’s absolutely worth your time. Would we go back? Without question.

Fabulous friendly restaurant. Myself and three friends enjoyed our meal which was of a high standard at a good price. The attached bakery is fab too!

Incredible food. Best restaurant in Hull. It’s been a while since I’ve had a restaurant wow me like that but everything is cooked incredibly. A range of options and fairly priced.
