Always really liked this (proper) pub, whenever I’m back in the old town I try to visit. Had a bite to eat which was delicious also- top marks.

So much fun absolutely love the place highly recommend staff for Really Nice and very friendly and very helpful. The card green card red card is a lot of fun Only thing that I found was slightly disappointing, was the chimichurri isn’t fresh herbs

Had my little wedding reception here in December 2023. Excellent venue with fabulous staff and really good food. The atmosphere was great and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Food was great and plentiful and Laura of the Bluebell had decorated the room for me. Everyone really enjoyed and stated it was such a brilliant atmosphere and praised the staff because of the extra miles taken. Just would like to say a big THANK YOU to all at the Bluebell in Pontefract.

Just returned from an overnight stay here. This is one of the best meals I have had at a hotel. 1. Friendly and attentive staff 2. Great atmosphere- perfect background music and warm 3. Exceptional food with great service and fairly priced. Drinks not overpriced for a hotel I had the pork, my friend the chicken and our husband’s the steak. Definitely going back.

I had a really good experience here on a quiet Monday evening. I was welcomed by, the very friendly, Felix who proceeded to talk me through the food stations and what was available. He then showed me to my requested quiet table and took my drinks order. This was an exceptionally quiet restaurant due to to the time of year. However, the first thing I noticed was the freshness of food on offer, the good temperature at each station and how all the staff were keeping themselves busy cleaning down and restocking as needed whilst they had the time. By the time I returned to my table with my first round my drink was waiting. Felix checked in on me a few times throughout my evening without being over baring I understand people's reviews are based on their own opinions, but I do think some people need to shake their heads when dining at buffet restaurants. The food can't be stored too warm as it would continue to cook. It is impossible in busy times to keep more popular stations fully stocked without compromising the less busy ones. I certainly know I couldn't have got the same amount, and quality of food, for anywhere near what I paid for my evening plus drinks. Ultimately if you want fine dining then don't eat at buffet restaurants. For me I got far better than I expected and indeed paid for. Well done Felix and the team, you'll know my reasons, and I left extremely full and happy

We had a lovely time at Tocketts yesterday. The Staff go above and beyond. We can't wait to come back. Sticky toffee pudding with honeycomb pieces was a big hit with me. Can't wait to come back. One small thing.. the girl waitresses should be allowed to have something on their ar.s especially in the conservatory. Very cold for them.

Service was smashing. Seated quickly, attended to quickly, food came out rapidly and cooked to perfection. We purposely traveled over 20 miles for this visit and it did not disappoint. Will certainly return!

Arrived after a long walk in the Dales on a Sunday afternoon. The service was excellent, very friendly staff and the food and drinks came out in a timely manner. Sunday Dinners - felt overpriced for the plate of food. All very tasty but minimal amount of meet and a small portion of veg was disappointing. Salads ordered weren’t salads more cheese and potatoes but still enjoyable. The restaurant was quite chilly, could have done with the heating on a little higher.

Every time we’ve been to Little Sicily we’ve enjoyed a tasty well presented meal. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and deal with all your requests quickly and with a smile. Well done to all the team….its just what Bridlington needs.
