Really nice steak pie, I enjoyed my steak aswell. Waited around 50 mins for food but restaurant was full and staff apologetic for wait. Will definitely return.

Visiting from Newcastle and booked this as liked the sound of the tapas and cocktails. It’s a nice little place and the staff are friendly but it could do with some music in the background where you dine as it was just a bit dull.. The food: the price of the tapas does not reflect the quality. The patatas bravas was basically wedges in tomato passata. It had little taste. The pork belly was cooked nice but was described as being glazed which it wasn’t.. however, the hummus and bread were lovely! Lastly, the cocktails: I had a margarita which tasted like fruit salad sweets and my husband had a cherry mojito - both of which were far too sweet. I’m not convinced the margarita was even made with tequila as I couldn’t see any on the bar. Overall, we left very underwhelmed.

Had a lovely meal with the Mrs., the meats were delicious and on tap, which was great, lovely salad bar to accompany the meat, great atmosphere, friendly staff would recommend. thank you :-)

We visited The Royal Oak on the 1st night of our recent trip, the service and food was fantastic, so much so that we went back on our last night. The Pie was delicious, as was the Curry!

Although the meals are usually really nice when we came the other day we were a bit disappointed. The steak pie was not as nice as it normally is the gravy was far to thick and the puff pastry lid not very good. Also the chips are always soggy but hard on the inside, therefore I ask for them to be really well done, however I always have to send them back to get them done again as they never seem to listen to what you have asked for! My husband says the same about the chips. It does actually put me off getting them, but most of the dishes do come with chips so there is not always any other option!!!

Me and my Partner went here for Valentine’s, the meal was beautiful and the service was amazing. One of the best Indian restaurants in Hull.

Second time here and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend the pizzas! Service was great - greeted with a smile and staff were throughout attentive. Lovely atmosphere too. We will definitely be back!
