Lovely experience at The Bay Horse. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Food is delicious, we had fresh rolls and fritters to start then steak and ale pie and the roast beef alongside the best accompanying vegetables I've had in ages. Unfortunately no room for pudding :(

Couldn’t fault anything as staff were friendly and efficient; relaxed atmosphere and plentiful portions. Can definitely recommend a Sunday lunch at this lovely place, especially after a walk in this beautiful area.

Every dish was packed with flavour, clearly made with care, and tasted genuinely authentic, nothing outside Mexico will come close. You can tell the people behind this place really know what they’re doing. The atmosphere deserves a special mention too. Relaxed, welcoming, and full of good energy. We had our one-year-old with us and they couldn’t have been more accommodating or kind, which made the whole evening feel easy and enjoyable rather than stressful. Great food, great vibes, and genuinely lovely people. If you’re in Hull and you like proper Mexican food, do yourself a favour and go. Places like this deserve to stick around.

Yes, initially it looked expensive but for the amount of food that we got and the quality.m, it was more than worth it. The owners were so friendly and nothing was too much to ask. The portions were of a good size and the steak pie I had was huge and very tasty. However the chips I ordered were thin and and of poor quality compared with other places we have dined at. We felt the welcome and service could have been more friendly with better customer rapport. Parking was easy.
