I wanted to take this opportunity to write a review on the amazing cookery courses being run at PP

I visited this restaurant on the 19th February for an evening meal with my sister and brother. The food was absolutely wonderful, couldn't fault it! However the service was TERRIBLE. We asked for a jug of tap water, it didn't come until the end main course, after asking for it twice. We had to ask for the sweet menu, which again was ages coming. When ordering our sweet we ordered 2 coffees - we waited a long time, but they never did come !! So we paid the bill and went. I did not leave a tip due to the appalling service, but was shocked to see after we had paid that there was a 10 Service charge. If I had realised this I would have knocked it off the bill. So be warned.

Saw the best Band Ive ever seen There called The STAT Band. This Band must be one of the best Band's around. Incredible musicianship, harmonies a great choice of song's (all my favourites) look out for them , you won't be disappointed..

A family of 11 went to the threenuns as it was my daughters birthday.We waited ages for the food to arrive and they got one of the starters wrong.My son-in-law was given a bowl of chips as a starter.He explained that he cheese and bacon was missing the waitress placed the chips on the table and said well you have paidfor them.She did not attempt to sort the issue out.When we finally got our main meal most of ot had been kept warm and the food went cold very fast.Even my daughters pudding came out and had to be taken back as again it was wrong.It took 20 minutes for the problem to be sorted by which time everyone else had finished eating.We have been going to the threenuns for the last 10 years and never had a problem and always enjoyed our visits.But it is now safe to say we will not be going there ever again.Total waste of time and money.

Went to Alfies last night to celebrate our daughters 18th. We had pre booked for 25 people and everything was ready for us. Brilliant service, brilliant food and thanks for everything! The cake was something else, and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitley visit again and would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a Chinese buffet. One of our party hadn't been before and was well impressed. Cannot thank the staff enough for making it so special.

Mister C's holds a Fish and Chip Quality Award from the National Federation of Fish Friers, placing it in the top 2 of shops in the country. You can be sure of the quality of service and product received in this shop as it consistently serves up some of Britain's finest fish and chips.

Been a "regular" since Lockwoods opened. Never a bad experience/meal and besides the "ordinary" menu (which is anything but!) the Tapas Nights and now Sunday Brunch are not to be missed. Matthew (and staff) keep up the good work.

Really great traditional fish and chips. The staff were great and very friendly and its clearly popular with the locals! I'll definitely be going back again!

We have been on number of occasions along with other members of the family staff and food always up to our expectations. Excellent I travel from Leeds.

The Burton Stone Inn is the best pub to be and for all your pub food and to hear the best Music at a weekend from freemans entertainmentand have a good night out.

We went to White Rose Harvester last night for the very 1st time. Our waitress Abi was very good, she looked after us very well and has even booked us in for Mothers Day. The food was really lovely and we enjoyed it all very much.

Been to Birchwood many times and never had a bad meal, the sevice is good with a great atposphere. The cakes are fab too.

We always enjoy our visits to this local Inn and our banter with Phil! Excellent food and service and what can we say about those wonderful cappuccinnos! Looking forward to our next visit which won't be long.

Typical British Chinese food, not authentic Chinese at all. Bland food.

Excellent place to have tasty and authentic Indian food very good service you can take your own alcoholic drinks good parking. we had lovely party . Recommend to all.

Dropped in with the children for cake and hot chocolate after a bracing walk on the beach. The "hot" chocolate looked like the contents of my septic tank and tasted of nothing. My kids normally eat anything with sugar in, so I was surprised when they didn't eat the custard as it "tastes like chlorine" and the "hot" chocolate fudge cake was like the sort of absorbent dressing used to pack a discharging septic wound. The banoffee pie consisted of stale crushed biscuit and about 4mm of slight sweet mucus. The squirty cream and fresh banana was the only thing edible. The Maggpie down the road has deserts for the same price so I kicked myself for giving thsi place a try.

Heard about this fantastic hotel from friends who go as regularly as possible and have wanted to try it out for some time now so last weekend we drove out to Rudding Park. It is a beautiful hotel in truly stunning surroundings. We had lunch at the clocktower restaurant and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had. Sitting around an ancient olive tree in a light and airy space set the mood for a relaxed luncheon. The food was exquisite and you could tell so much attention to detail in every aspect of the cooking. Service was impeccable, attentive without being over the top. It was a real treat for us but we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. We will definitely be going back as soon as possible, probably for the next special occasion.
