Myself and my friend enjoyed a lovely meal at the Sambuca. Always friendly, and a wonderful atmosphere . The food was freshly prepared, hot and of excellent quality. The staff are always friendly and attentive to our needs. A lovely evening.

Both were cooked to perfection, the vegetables and potatoes were delicious. The staff were really friendly and we enjoyed the whole experience. We'll definately call in there again.

In fact what was supposed to be pavlova was a pile of cream with a few slices of strawberry in it sprinkled sparingly with crumbled mini meringue and 1 pink mini meringue plus a few raspberries and berries in juice. Was more like a frugal Eton mess overloaded with cream. Very disappointing and certainly not as described. I did mention it to the waitress and asked her to pass on my comments to the appropriate person. No complaints about the staff who are very pleasant and efficient.

Three out of the four of us had the special on offer can’t remember the name but it was on 15/11/25 and was beef tortellini with mushrooms in a bolognaise sauce. Puddings were also delicious washed down with a couple of bottles of house wine. The whole evening needs to be repeated. *****. I would highly recommend.
