Had a meal on a Friday night - menu was exceptional and food was fantastic. Attentive and friendly staff - a lovely experience . Already booked to go back next week - can’t wait .

Such friendly staff and adorable cats. The warm drinks here are amazing, me and my boyfriend ended up getting another cappuccino and a mocha to go just before leaving

Had some very good quality meals when having lunch at the Empress recently. Very generous portions, excellent food, and not at all expensive. The ales were good as well. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere in this place is top banana; cosy, cool, authentic. Love the decor and style. It’s clean, fresh and the staff are lovely. The food arrives at a good time, tastes fresh, flavoursome and you can tell a lot of thought, effort and love has gone into it. The prawn taco is absolutely delicious, the soft crab is a winner too. The others are good ( pork taco, potatoes) but those two really stood out. The beef sandwich was filthy ( in a good way) . Proper messy, the bread is exceptionally good, and the melt in the mouth beef created a lot of “ Oh my God yes” comments. These dishes are filling and wholesome but I somehow managed to squeeze in a deep fried Cherry Pie. Two lil’ crispy deep fried half moon pastry parcels, filled with warm cherry goodness ( let it cool a little), surrounded with this to die for custard, cream sauce with added pistachios. Another aspect, I should add, is the textures. ( Peanuts in the prawn taco, deep fried shredded onions in another). Gave amazing pockets of complimentary additions to the taste.

First time visit while visiting Bridlington for golf. Service very attentive food delicious and good value. Will recommend and hopefully visit again

First visit to the Copper Cow, party of four and chose the Sunday roast sharing platter - Couldn’t fault anything! Excellent food, excellent service, excellent value. Honestly have no hesitation in recommending it highly and will definitely be back.

Lovely selection of menu options with well-chosen dishes by us. The location was excellent. Echoes a previous review from a post-work business dinner, making it a consistently great choice in Skipton.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We visited Raph’s Lounge in Cottingham on Thursday the 2nd of October as a table of seven, and what a hidden gem it turned out to be! The young lady who served us was so sweet, attentive, and welcoming, and the manager made sure everything ran smoothly. The food was far beyond what you’d expect from a lunchtime meal – it felt more like a high-class evening dining experience. Beautiful presentation, excellent flavours, and a really cosy atmosphere. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Popped in for a meal today with a friend and we were seated opposite the kitchen. The Chef was singing while cooking, which added such a fun and cheerful atmosphere! The food was lovely, service was very good, although it did feel a little busy for just one member of staff on the floor. Overall, a really enjoyable visit – we’ll definitely be back.

Friendly and welcoming bar and restaurant. Staff were attentive and helpful and the food was good with a reasonable menu of starters, mains and desserts . The manager made an extra effort in welcoming our dog.

Surroundings very comfortable. Varied choices. From entering the restaurant we hadn't got into our seats when we where asked what drinks we wanted, so felt quite flustered as we had a partially sighted person with us, drinks arrived as did the waiter wanting our food order, felt it was like 100 mile an hour

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We came here on Wednesday for a 50th with a group of seven, and it was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious—as it always is—and the service was just as impressive. A lovely lady called Rose served us, and she couldn’t have been more wonderful. We’ve been here loads of times and it never disappoints. 5/5 for food every time!
