they don't do food to the best of my knowledge but the music is fantastic, the beer good and if you are starving the fish shop opposite is the best and they don't mind you eating in the porch if you get a beer

Boot and Shoe – PontefractI have been here twice and the food is absolutely gorgeous, the place its self is very quirky and goes well with is surroundings, the inside consists of what look likes miss match antique, vintage furniture. the menu is a good choice of old and new food. would highly recommend a visit! i like it so much i am going back my third time.
Swan, The – Leeds City CentreA few of us from The Yorkshire Post popped in here for a curry last week. Food was acceptable but service a bit slow. Good atmos. though. Menu was reasonable but we thought it was a bit pricey given the grub.
Raies – RoundhayI discovered Fuji Hiro around three years ago and still eat there three or four times a month. The food is unpretentious and delicious. The owners stick to a smallish selection of what they do best. The Ebi Katsu prawns side dish are sensational. There's a relaxed atmosphere and the owners always look genuinely happy for your custom. Cannot recommend this palce enough and the portions are massive!
Fuji Hiro – Leeds City Centrethe worst place i have ever set eyes upon. the manager was absoloutely dreadful.
Elm Tree Inn and Barn Owl Restaurant – WorksopBRILLIANT especially loved the staff, very friendly and helpful
Great Wall Chinese Restaurant, The – BrighouseI had never had Japanese food before and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere at the restaurant was great and the staff were really friendly and made you feel really welcome. The chef was really funny and put on a great show. Great food, great atmosphere and loadsa fun!
Wasabi Teppanyaki – Leeds City CentreVery nice food, excellent bar staff. Really nice afternoon out!!! thoroughly recommended!
Nags Head – Hullthis is the first time that we have visited and it certainly wont be the last. the staff were really friendly and polite and the food was lovely. definitely will make this a regular place to eat out!
Edmund Arms – BarnsleyI arrived on my own this last Saturday ..after a glass of wine at the Hare and Hounds pub across the road . I entered and asked the waiter i there was a table for one?..he went away to ask the manager ..who came over and said No ! ..there was no reason given ..there were half a dozen people in the restaurant.. so i went away and telephoned the Ashoka ..a much smaller restaurant ..and said please sir we await your arrival..after which i had a very pleasant meal am still waiting for a reason .
Almas Indian Brasserie – SheffieldBeautiful food, some of the best Thai I have eaten. It was particularly pleasing to see a wide range of vegetarian on offer, as all too often restaurants are so lazy in this regard. The only (minor) criticism is that we felt the tables were too close together, but that did not spoil a lovely evening with great food and wine list.
Sangthai Restaurant – YorkGreat bar, brilliant music, drinks, bar staff etc. what lets this place down severely are the door men, I have never seen much trouble in here which probably means they do a reasonable job. However, I find them to be rude and offensive when queueing. I have been accused by them of 'causing trouble' in the queue. This was upsetting, embarrasing and blatently untrue. I was never asked to leave the queue but left queueing in the rain for about half an hour only to meet my accusation at the door.... shame. I really like this bar and oporto, but the memory of that night and other stories I have heard leave a nasty taste in the mouth.
Jakes Bar – Leeds City CentreOkay... Now I've eaten curry at a good few places in my time, but my experience at Sweet Centre tops the lot! The food was awesome (chicken masala with chick peas) and the staff were immeasurably helpful. I would recommend this place as being head and shoulders above the rest in Bradford, if an authentic curry is what you're after.
Sweet Centre Restaurant – BradfordFirst time we tried to go it was on the weekend and they looked at us like idiots because we hadn't booked in advance. We went back on a weeknight and it seating was no problem.
La Rue Restaurant – ShipleyWhat a little gem this one is. Since we first visited three weeks ago we cannot stop going back. Truly delicious Italian food, certainly the best I've had in a while. It will be interesting to see if other Italians in Wakefield raise the bar to compete. The lunchtime menu is a real bargain too - any pizza or pasta based dish is only £4.50. Could do with a more extensive wine list though
Rustico – WakefieldPizza express is one of my favourite restaurants to visit. The food is always to perfection and the service is usually fairly quick. However, i found that the service at this particular restaurant was rather rude. Simple things such as asking if we were enjoying our meal, saying thank you as we left etc. Myself and my partner of 25 years were seated round a corner which seemed slightly cut off from the rest of the room. Despite the imperfections of the dining and seating arrangement, the food was rich and at a moderate price. I would suggest that the staff make more of an effort for peoples birthdays though. It was my partners birthday celebration and the waiter simply gave him a candle. Not much to the imagination there!
Pizza Express – Ilkleyvery nice food, great staff, well worth a visit
Corner Pin, The – Barnsleywe went on 06.09.07,the decor is very nice and the staff and service was top notch. We ordered 3 main courses which were served swiftly. One dish was fantastic but the other two were too salty and very very spicy. We would revisit to try other dishes to see if they are an improvement
