Dough Bar – Liverpool City Centreamazing as always!
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreI always try to fit in a visit to Ayuthaya when I come to visit my family in Liverpool. As usual, was not disappointed, the food was delicious. The coconut soup on the starter menu is fabulous. Last time I visited I had the spicy Beef Salad but it unfortunately wasn't available this time due to more limited Covid menu. I had the spicy king prawn salad instead which was fresh and tasty, not quite as good as the beef but still lovely. Awesome Beef on the starter menu was just that - awesome. My sister had the Penang curry which was quite sweet, but very moreish. Staff were friendly and service was prompt. A great little place.
Ayuthaya – CrosbyAwesome breakfast Awesome customer service Awesome decor
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreIt was our first time going to this restaurant and we will certainly be going back. Lovely friendly staff and atmosphere, large portions so much so we couldn’t eat it all, we brought it home in a doggy bag. Gorgeous good quality food which is very reasonably priced. Excellent choice on menu. We had the early evening menu two courses for £9.99. The restaurant and toilets are spotless and they are adhering to the government advice of social distancing and test and trace. If you haven’t already been to this restaurant I would highly recommend that you try it.
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreWe sat outside for drinks. Very pleasant and well organised re covid distancing etc. They did call us in the morning to advise you can't reserve an outside table which was good of them but luckily we managed to get one. Great service, really enjoyed
Dovedale Towers – Mossley HillGreat place. Really friendly welcome and some cracking beers and food. Special mention for a pint of Pilsner Urquell and Chicarones (like a deep fried pork scratching!- great with cold beer!) Music was fab too. Definitely one of best places this end of town. Thanks!
