Great atmosphere, service & drinks
Mr Smith’s Parlour – HoylakeDidn’t turn up but rung in advance….disappointed I never got offered my deposit back or asked to move to another date
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonSuperb as always, lovely food great staff & lovely atmosphere
Souvla Allerton – Mossley HillLovely staff, great atmosphere and wonderful food would highly recommend
Roberto’s Italian – SouthportLovely little place which is a welcome addition to Hoylake. Food was lovely and enjoyed by all. Our experience was slightly ruined by what appeared to be an overbooking as we were asked to finish up as our table was booked. Our booking was for a table of four at 6.30. This request was made at 7.30. All in all we were fed, watered and paid up in under 90 minutes. There was no stipulation in the booking of a time limit. My friend was still eating when her plate was almost whipped from underneath her. This was not the service one would expect for a relaxing night out with friends. We toddled up the road to Arthur’s where we were able to enjoy a relaxed chat and drink without being hassled.
Mr Smith’s Parlour – HoylakeAbsolutely love the Scouse and such great value. Hubby and friends loved the pizzas. Great little pub with a good atmosphere. Would recommend booking a table if there’s a group of you as it gets busy; sign of a good pub!
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreThe manager accommodated us really well and got me a booth for my 40th birthday, after people telling me I’d never get a table for weeks. The portions were massive and the food was nice. You can’t really ask for much more.
Mr Smith’s Parlour – HoylakeHonestly the best Chinese restaurant I've ever been too..clean and lovely decor, staff so friendly and the food was gorgeous Definitely be going again.
Sing Faye Chinese Restaurant – St.Helens1st time, won't be our last. Gorgeous food, massive portions and friendly staff. This place has a lovely Mediterranean feel. Recommend the mushroom starter and the complimentary chocolate brownie was delicious. 5* for me.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreDidnt get to eat, we were running a little late due to traffic and got into the restaurant at 6:10 we were then left waiting for someone to come to eat to be seated, we were ignored untill 6:17. When I gave my name amd told them we were alittle late they said that there is only a 15minute grace. To which I tried to say we arrived at 10 past, he just walked off and the proceeded to just ignore us and book in other people. This was shocking service and no real explanation as we areived in the 15 minutes Grace but were just ignored.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreI booked the table for my husbands birthday and as ever (we are repeat diners), the food was excellent, the staff were welcoming and friendly and extremely accommodating. They sang happy birthday to him and gave him an ice cream as a little gift! We both thoroughly recommend Sing Faye St Helens to anyone wanting a really lovely night out. P.S. did we say that the food was excellent?
Sing Faye Chinese Restaurant – St.HelensThe best Scouse in Liverpool - hot, hearty and very welcoming.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreLovely atmosphere and decor, great staff but they were struggling and need more staff waiting at tables. Food was fab and chef open to suggestions (pork belly was amazing). Will definitely be back, but service needs to be slicker. Thank you!
Mr Smith’s Parlour – HoylakeWhat a wonderful find! Superb food (& drinks) Friendly attentive staff Great overall vibe. Take some cash as they don’t take tips by card. And if you have an experience like ours, you’ll want to leave a tip!
Mr Smith’s Parlour – HoylakeDelicious food with good vegan options. The staff are very friendly and attentive .
Ayuthaya – CrosbyGorgeous food, real Mediterranean vibe. Bonus chocolate brownie. Happily recommend- we'll be back
