We have ate here quite a few times and it’s always been nice. However for a table of three a 10% service charge was added to our bill on this visit, food wasn’t hot and had to chase our drinks which took ages to come. Wont be back, service wasn’t great and with the added charge…. No thanks.

We’ve being wanting to try this place for a while but never got round to it! We are so glad we finally did, everything was wonderful, portion sizes were great, tacos and burritos were stuffed full of meat. We will definitely be back!!

First time here, was not disappointed, amazing meal the kleficto was amazing, service amazing an staff very helpful. Will definitely be coming back very soon.

I have chosen to give a low star due to the rushed food …We chose the meze …just like other reviews…glad we were not the only ones to experience this…we hadn’t even finished the starter that we were enjoying when the next course came …not finished this and the third course came…this happened throughout our meal…and we didn’t enjoy the way you were made to feel..as we were slow eaters…which we are not…this caused the meals to go cold..and the waiters kept walking passed looking to see if the plates needed taking away…with one waiter taking a plate that we hadn’t finished…all this experience made us feel uncomfortable I can’t believe that this is still happening …doesn’t the owner or manager read the reviews… It would be good practice to ask your diners are you ready for the next course..like most restaurants…I’ve never experienced such a rushed meal that I am paying for…we arrived at 5.15 and our meal was finished by 6.15…at a cost of £75+ we would have spent more if we weren’t made to feel that it was time to go…not at all a relaxing and enjoyable evening celebrating my partners special birthday… Will not be returning…even though we love Greek food… I would like to see the owner/manager commenting on the poor reviews and to review the rushed meze meal…..this can be served quite comfortably within your table slot time… All the low stars from other diners are mainly due to food being rushed….

Food nice but the meze is rushed to you…don’t have time to finish each course and the next one arrives and then the next…causing the meals to be cold… Spoilt my evening it wasn’t a relaxing meal…

Been here a few times now and, as always, this last time didn’t disappoint. Food, service and atmosphere excellent as always. A lovely family run restaurant with large menu of delicious food. Excellent value for money.

Went with wife to try this new Greek restaurant both of us had the set meza and a half carafe of house red starters very fresh and really tasty nice to try all the different dishes and by the time the final meat section came with the orango flavoured chips I was feeling already full and had to ask for a doggy bag as too good to leave glad to see a local restaurant doing so well and look forward to trying other dishes in the future 5 star also just to mention staff very polite and attentive

Another visit to The Empire Theatre means another visit to Ma E’s for dinner! After years of the same ritual (at least once a month) I don’t think we’ve every had a bad meal! Menu is mainly pizza’s and but there are lighter options like salads & small bites (pizza pasty, four salad options, nachos, Bruschetta) and sharing platters like a ploughman's lunch for one person or a larger charcuterie for two. But my favourite and usually my first option is their homemade Scouse with warm crusty bread and pickled red cabbage. But with it being 27° outside we settled on sharing a ‘My Fair Lady’ and a ‘ Guys & Dolls’ instead. Which leaves room for their very tasty choice of desserts, all served with cream or ice cream. With an extensive drink menu including tea & coffee you won’t be disappointed. And you’re not going to break the bank either. And to top it all off, the staff are extremely friendly, there’s great service and the music never disappoints! Another 10/10 visit. Thank you!

Great place, staff were very attentive, food was exceptional, we had the meze, which was very good value, we took lots of it home!! Would recommend to all.

Food was nice. But service extremely rushed, table of 4 and one of the meals came out 15 mins before the rest, which is bizarre as you expect to eat with your party. The waitresses weren’t very welcoming or friendly, bill was thrown on the table at the end. Service was a let down, but the host who sat us down was lovely. Tables really close together so felt cramped
