This is the best Indian Restaurant I have ever eaten at. The food is delicious! Every person I have recommended it to has fallen in love with the place. An experience at Mayur is never disappointing!!

Mayur – Liverpool City CentreHad another meal last night (Thursday) Cooked by (Im told) Michael Wichmann and Michael Abrahams. Best meal I have ever had. Shame neither Ian nor David were on hand so I could tell them how good it was!!!
Pioneer Bar and Brasserie – CrosbyTried this restaurant on moving to Wallasey as it came highly recommended. I was bitterly disappointed. the food was bland (I know...) very oily and seemed poor for the expensive price tag. Struggling to find a decent local Indian takeaway, I gave it a try again about 6 months later and it was worse! The pakoras were undercooked and filled with uncooked batter. the chicken tikka was raw in the middle and the vegetables in the meal were obviously straight out of a frozen mixed veg bag from Iceland. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!
Magic Spices – WallaseyCelebrated a birthday with a lunch at Chaophraya. Excellent food, good service and lovely ambiance.
Chaophraya – Liverpool City CentreBest fish and chips in southport
Mike’s Fish and Chip Shop – SouthportIf you want an authentic Spanish meal then this is the place to go. It's fantastic, REALLY authentic with Spanish staff too. Food was superb, atmosphere laid back but vivacious. It was HEAVING when we went on a Thursday night, which speaks for itself. We were not disappointed and will be back soon. BRAVO TAPAS TAPAS
Tapas Tapas – WaterlooSERVICE WAS AT A HIGH STANDARD AND FOOD WAS AMAZING !
The Monro – Liverpool City Centrethe food, hospitality everything was fantastic even the atmosphere was great.Thanx for a great night
Greek Taverna – WaterlooI booked a table in this restaurant four weeks ago, I had booked the VIP table for ten guests, when booking the table I offered to pay a deposit but was told that this was not necessary. I contacted the restaurant two days prior to the booking to confirm the reservation and was told that everything was fine. I arrived on the evening to be informed that they had no record of my booking.....when I asked to see their reservation book my name and reservation was clearly there....I pointed this out to the staff concerned and they told me that I no longer had a table and asked me and my party to leave the premises! I was very shocked at how rude and unhelpful the staff were, they had clearly given our table to somebody else....they made no offer of compensation and no apology. I have since spoken to a number of other people who have a had a similar exeriences, it would appear the restaurant are over booking to ensure that the restaurant it full at the expense of diners who are looking forward to an enjoyable evening. I would certainly not visit this restaurant ever again and was disgusted with the treatment I received.
Chaophraya – Liverpool City CentreWent for a meal here beginning of July. I cannot fault anything, the restaurant is lovely inside, staff are friendly and helpful and the food was outstanding. We had the set menu £25.00 each and the seabass was gorgeous. We then went next door to Palm Sugar for cocktails. Would highly recommend here.
Chaophraya – Liverpool City CentreMy wife and I went with family on Thursday of this week, while visiting'back home'I can't say how happy I was to have chosen Chaophraya, from the service the decor and ambience!! the food was out of this world superbly presented by staff who where more than happy to take care of you. I am so happy to recommend this restaurant as it ,no It's staff just show total commitment and dedication. We, my wife and I actually went back for lunch the next day, dare I say possibly better, but that could just be we had some time with just us. Go and support this wonderful restaurant, not expensive but not the cheapest, but probably the best eating experience I have ever had in Liverpool.
Chaophraya – Liverpool City Centrefood was tasty...took a while...and staff were a bit confused over table numbers and where food was meant to be...but gave us a chance to chat and drink. When the food came was so nice...at least that proves its freshly prepared and cooked .
Greek Taverna – WaterlooHad to return my meal which meant my partner ate alone while I waited for a replacement.. They offered me a cup of coffee for the inconvenience which I declined. A reduction on the bill would have sufficed but they refused to reduce the bill in any way even though they were at fault. As I had to leave for my train I had no time to argue the point with them. I would never eat there again.
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City CentreTried out Prego for lunch recently and have to say was far from impressed with service. Food was food though. If you go for lunch make sure you get there early. We were there at 2pm and they seemed less than impressed when we asked about desserts. Then when we took their hints and left they had locked the doors! Any they advertise as being open 10am to 11pm!
Prego Restaurant – AintreeHeld my daughters christening upstairs at Pioneer. What a fantastic venue for a function. They won't entertain 18ths or 21sts but the best location in the area for christenings, 30ths, 40ths, 50ths etc by far. Thanks to David, Ian and all the staff for a memorable and perfect day.
Pioneer Bar and Brasserie – CrosbyMy husband and I went to this restaurant on Sunday 26th and thought this was very overpriced for what seemed a good menu and the atmosphere cold and uninviting. There was a mix on the service as one waiter was very good where as the other couldn't wait to clear us out. Sorry I won't be going again.
Il Forno – Liverpool City CentreWe adore hong sing, great chinese food, reasonably priced, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. We go often with our daughter who's first visit was at 3 weeks old and the staff are fantastic with her. Great for a family meal, catch up with friends and even a great place to celebrate special occasions. Our favourite chinese!!
