I went to this restaurant for my mothers birthday. The food was very tasty and the staff took very good care of us. My mother enjoyed herself and we will definitely be going back.

A Passage To India – Liverpool City CentreHad a superb meal last night at the Monro. Well cooked with good flavours and great value for money ( £30 each including wine). Its a noisy venue with lots of atmosphere in an interesting part of town and whilst its not flash inside they are serving very good, simple food.
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreWe'll certainly be back as we value good food, well prepared & attractively presented.
Marsh Cat Restaurant – HeswallMe and 2 friends enjoyed a 3 course meal at the new Almond restaurant on Tuesday. I had a black pudding starter which was very well presented and tasted great, followed by chicken breast with rosti and wild mushrooms. This was beautiful and the dish looked fab. 2 courses was enough for me, but i had to try the grilled amoretto pineapple with almond ice cream...wow!!!
Almond Bar and Restaurant – West DerbyWe have been visiting this restaurant since it opened in Dec 2006 and have found the food and service to be consistently very good, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it! Mark & Jennifer.
Blue Mango Restaurant – PrescotWent for the first time last night and it will NOT be the last. Superb food and great atmosphere. The entertainment was amazing and really helped the experience. A young lady on the piano who sounded just like Alishia Keys. I have the black pudding, new potato, and cheruzio (I have spelt that wrong I know) which was devine. My main was an excellent chicken dish which I will recommend to all. Many thanks for an excellent meal and dining experience. John.
Jalons – WavertreeReally enjoyed this place, looks great and the food was excellent. Will definitely be going again.
Maranto’s Restaurant – AigburthExcellent food, great value for money, Anna & Enzo have created a lovely atmosphere and cant be more welcoming. Highly recommend the Pera Fagottini or Lobster Ravioli - delicious!
Enzo’s Piazza Italia – MoretonWanted something different and after reading recommendations on Sugarvine went there with my husband last night, we had the Mezedes Greek banquet for 2 which was absolutely fabulous, well worth the money and would definitely have again. This is a small place but so inviting, couldn't ask for better service and even little added extras in the ladies toilets all goes along way to making this a special place to revisit!
Bacchus Taverna – Liverpool City CentreThe food here is delicious. Great portions and well presented. The staff are attentive and well mannered offering impeccable service. Only criticism being the hostess who was quite rude to my husband on arrival and overwhelmed us with a smell of cigarette smoke. Hopefully this was just a bad evening for her. We will be back next weekend for the much hyped breakfasts
Esteban Mediterranean Tapas – AigburthHaving been to Yo Sushi in Birmingham I was excited at the opening in Liverpool, but I was disappointed. The number of dishes on the belt was extremely limited and although you can order dishes, this was slow in coming and half the fun is grabbing stuff off the belt! Coupled with a rude and arrogant supervisor this wasn't the fun experience I'd hoped for. Certainly for Japanese food in Liverpool Etsu is your best bet, good food and service.
Yo Sushi – Liverpool City CentreUsed to be a big fan of this great little restaurant, but it seems to have lost its way a little. Not sure whats happening here, I hope they regain their drive that they used to have but when I dined there last week I found the food quite bland and a strangely dull atmosphere. Give it a try because hopefully, it will return to it's former glory, but for the time being I'm afraid I won't be in a rush to return. Sorry.
Pauls Place – Mossley HillI was looking forward to dining at Lefteris, however although the restaurant was not busy the service was poor... We were left for too long to look at the menu and had to ask for a drink only to be told by the waitress that she was 'busy'! When our food finally arrived it was tasty albeit expensive, unfortunately when my friend got home that evening he was sick! Was it the food??
Lefteris Greek Taverna – Mossley HillWe went to the Baltic for the first time last Sunday, I'm a big beer lover so the brew pub thing made my day. We ordered home-made roasted tomato soup and the stuffed portabello mushrooms to start and the welsh lamb and roast rib eye beef for our main. The food was delicious, traditional food done very well. my partner and I were surprised at the amount and quality of the food we ordered and it was only 9.95 for 2 courses. We found the staff very good and friendly and more than wiling to talk about the history of the fabulous building and the brewery.
The Baltic Fleet – Liverpool City CentreI've been going to Etsu since it first opened and have ever since. The staff are brilliant and very friendly. I always suggest Etsu at every opportunity and everyone that I've brought with me always enjoys the food. It's definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Liverpool and I'd go everyday if I could!
Etsu – Liverpool City CentreWent back for first time in 16 years, not because of any complaint with the food, just that I moved out of the area. Had good meal which was well priced with good sized portions. Rice was a little cold with my meal but would recommend again.
Nicola’s Ristorante – WaterlooAte here June 2008 with my wife before a concert, had the best fish and chips I have eaten, sea bass in Tempura Batter, superb. Recommended to friends and ate there last Sunday, bad mistake tasted and looked like either findus or birds eye, which is fine except it cost me £11.
Circo – Liverpool City CentreI enjoyed a pleasant after work meal at the Almond Restaurant which has been open since the end of January 2009. The menu gives plenty of choice and the food is excellent and well presented. A nice relaxing evening. I will definitely go again.
