I love this restaurant - the jalfreezi dishes are the best I have ever tasted and full of flavour. Combined with friendly service and a warm ambience the Heswall tandoori ranks as my no 1 Indian restaurant of all time AAA+

Heswall Tandoori – HeswallThis has the potential to be an excellent restaurant. The building itself is stunning and the decor is impressive. However, the service is mediocre, with too many wrong orders, a shortage of smiles and, admittedly young, staff who have clearly received very little training in the art of dealing with the public. I imagine the place will improve - the Ormskirk Le Frog is brilliant. I will continue to go there, rather than St Helens for the time being, in the hope that the management straighten out this sadly lacking franchise!
Le Frog Bistro – St.HelensBeen going to this restaurant for nearly 8 years now, as you can guess it is excellent. Staff are very good and very patient when dining at the end of a night out. Will continue to dine in the indian delight
Indian Delight – Liverpool City CentreVery child friendly staff. Fantastic architecture. Ordinary (trying to be polite) food that was over priced. Pop in to see the splendour of the setting; a shame you can? eat that instead!
Pizza Express – Liverpool City CentreEagerly awaited we expected to be impressed and sure enough, we were. Well done. Michael
La Vina – Liverpool City CentreVery impressive sushi, meal was very good i just wish the table we had been sat with had a little more life in them, i believe this would have made the night even more enjoyable. But do not take that as a moan, plenty of other tables on the night were having lots of fun, so my advice would be to go with a load of friends or family and try and pack a table
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreWe have been dining at La Tasca since it opened. We bring all our Spanish visitors here - and they are very impressed. One said, 'I wish we had this in Spain!'. michael
La Tasca – Liverpool City CentreA wonderful combination of classy, relaxed, friendly and exclusive. The food is imaginative and there's a good range of wines available. I'd definitely recommend this as the place to be seen!
Schmooze Wine Bar and Eatery – Mossley HillWe were a party of eight celebrating my mother in laws birthday, the service was very good and the tapas was excellent. As main course most of the party had paella which looked smelt and tasted fantastic, we will definitely go again and would highly recommend this venue.
La Vina – Liverpool City CentreWent on Monday night and it was heaving, we were told there is a waiting list on the weekend. Food was stunning, atmosphere was without comparison. Brilliant
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreThe beautiful waitress was fantastic and extremely helpful, I think her name was Steph, she deserves a raise
Owens – ChildwallDecided to go after seeing the ratings from this site! Made up that we did, food was delicious, service great, price great, and lovin them booths!!! Fantastic.
Uni Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreNot the finest surroundings but certainly the best Chinese restaurant in Merseyside. Mr Chan is a perfect host and creates delicious dishes at a reasonable price. Probably the reason there are so many Thank You cards above the bar!
Mr Chans – St.HelensMy partner and I visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening. food excellent service excellent. Definitely go again.
Gulshan – AigburthFood was really nice but put off by the waiters hovering around whilst we were trying to have a romantic meal.
Master Chef Tandoori Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreWhen I was told we were eating in a French restaurant, I must admit I had my hesitations but as soon as we walked through the door we knew it would be a completely different experience. From the canopies to the drinks service, the atmosphere ensured your mood was as chilled as the restaurant intended it to be. With a fine selection of dishes to choose from, or for the more adventurous a Gourmet menu which included a number of smaller sized dishes ensuring the customer could sample a variety of dishes that infused different ingredients and different styles of cooking but consistently delivered an outstanding taste. The menu really did highlight the phrase 'value for money' as you really did get back what you were paying for. I found the staff very attentive and discreetly picked up on any requests by customers, as my friend and I experienced it for ourselves. I wouldn? like to consistently revisit this restaurant as it takes the essence away from it being a treat, a special occasion but more directly, something to look forward to. I hope that other people will visit the restaurant in hope of being surprised, relaxed and impressed. Thank you!
Fraiche Restaurant – OxtonExcellent service & food
A Passage To India – Liverpool City CentreAfter many recommendations a party of six of us visited the Manor last night. We found the atmosphere very welcoming indeed and the staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. As for the food,it was outstanding in quality and quantity and the cost would knock most restaurants into a cocked hat. We will definitely be paying many more visits. PS lamb shank is amazing.
