Sing Faye Chinese Restaurant – St.HelensOne of our favourite restaurants in Liverpool. We can’t stop going. The food is top quality along with the amazing staff. I can’t recommend highly enough
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthBest bowl of Scouse ever! The essence of Liverpool! Small venue so you need to book especially on Theatre days but we had a 5.30 slot and were a bit early. No problem. Left feeling really good and satisfied!
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreWe wanted to come and try the Scouse, and it didn’t disappoint. It was amazing! Hot, served with bread and red cabbage. Great price and fast service too, from very friendly bar staff. Looking round at other food orders: most actually had Scouse, but the Nachos at another table looked pretty good too. The menu also has Sharing plates, pizzas and small bites on it. We will be back to try something else, but no doubt we will be tempted back by the Scouse.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreBook here regularly. Food is always excellent. Have tried the scouse, various pizzas and sharing platters. Have enjoyed everything I've tried so far and re-ordered most of them on multiple occasions. The staff are friendly and efficient making everyone feel welcome. Very happy to recommend to anyone.

Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonAlthough we live on Aigburth Road near Christakis, we have never dined there. Our children and grandchildren all like going there so I went on line to find their web-site. There were several Christakis web-sites so I put in Aigburth Road to ensure I had the right one. We looked at the Menus and we decided to book a table for 2 at 5.30, to take advantage of the Early-bird Menu which was advertising 2 courses. for £10. When we arrived on time, we were shown to a table and were given the Menu. However, there was no mention of any Early-Bird meals on it. We told the waiter we had seen the early-bird menu on-line showing £10 for 2 courses. He said there was no such thing and he left and then came back with their latest early-bird menu showing 2 courses for about £15. Then a lady came and asked where I had seen the £10 meals advertised. I explained where I had seen them on line on their web-site. She said it was not their web-site for the Aigburth Road Restaurant even though I had correctly booked our table on it ! The food was good when it arrived, but a couple, sitting next to us, heard what was going on and they told us they knew nothing about the Earl-bird Menu availability and they had meals similar to ours but paid rather more than we did ! Why is the Early-bird menu not put on all the tables together with the ordinary menu, then people would be able to choose which menu to have and we would not have had such an embarrassing problem to contend with ?
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthGreat pizzas and cheese board before the theatre. Good atmosphere and prices, would definitely recommend.
