This is a great pub with lots of character and atmosphere. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. The giant Yorkshire pudding and Scouse was amazing; hot, tasty and lots of it. I would certainly eat and drink at this pub again.

I did question if the chef had changed over the years, the waitress suggested that there were two different chefs. We were unlucky not to get the other chef I suppose.
