Had a lovely lunch here yesterday with friends, delicious food, friendly staff, good prices, we'll be back! Highly recommended!

visited at 5.30pm on a Thursday. The choice on the menu surprised us so many choices.. we had starters then soup then mains plus drinks.Friend recommend the resturant we travelled 10 miles from mosley common to visit. Verdict 100% come back again ,food very good and service with a smile and a chat with the owner.She gave good recommendations the place is small but very cosy.

Always love my visits to Ma Egerton’s before the theatre. The pizza is amazing and one of the best I’ve had. It’s such a reasonable price too. Cosy atmosphere and really friendly staff. Love it here!

Booked a table one week before arriving in Liverpool for the weekend. Atmosphere and the staff were lovely. However, the main course was terrible. The waitress apologised for our wait having waited around 30 minutes after our starter had been cleared. My wife had the 'easy brie-zy' burger. under here fries was a receipt. I had the chicken burrito which was cold and the rice that was served with it had clearly been reheated or left under the warmer. I asked the manager to touch the rice, and they agreed this wasn't an acceptable standard. 20% knocked off the bill but given both out meals were not eaten this doesn't represent value for money and is a poor experience to say the least. We will not return. Wetherspoons would have been better and at 25% of the cost. Hopefully this was a one off rather than the norm...

For a party of 4 we all had something different from the menu and it was all delicious. Staff were very attentive and helpful. We didn't feel rushed at all. Good value for money. We will definitely visit when next in Southport.
