I normally love coming here but our last visit (Father’s Day) wasn’t the best. We arrived at our allocated booking and our table was reserved for 2 instead of four. So the waiter had to move 2 people from a table of four to accommodate us. Not the best start. My daughter was dining with us and she got up to go the ladies and the bench seat she was sat on must have had a spillage on it and absorbed into the padding… her jeans were absolutely soaking.. the waitress just apologised and gave her a cushion to sit on… my partners starter came 10 mins after ours, and top it off they over charged us. I understand it was busy but not up to the usual standards.

Great food and atmosphere, enjoyed the singer. Staff as friendly and helpful as ever. Never disappoints and will be back again very soon, lucky to have this great restaurant on our doorstep!

Really enjoyed it. It was my first visit and I will go again. The food was good, the room was lovely and the service was top class and personal.

First visit on Friday night, food and service was fabulous, really friendly staff, I had fish n chips my daughter had the crispy beef and rice and we both really enjoyed it

Just had a delicious meal here, all the staff were welcoming and the service was impeccable . We were sitting near a speaker which was a little loud but was lowered immediately when we asked. A lovely night , would definitely recommend

Brilliant food and service as always. Only disappointment was having to wait outside in the rain for 7mins (after the opening time) while “the boss finished his team meeting”. Not the best start. Staff are great though. Always make you feel welcome and speak to the kids.

Absolutely delicious meal. The prawn and Mussel spaghetti was fantastic as was the children’s meal. Great value. We’ll be back

Yet another wonderful family evening at this gem of a restaurant. Mario & the staff are so welcoming & friendly. The food is fantastic & knocks the competition out of the park’ We can’t recommend Mario’s enough, its like going to a friends for tea. We only discovered it about 18months ago, gutted we didn’t try it earlier.

Such a great restaurant to have on our doorstep! Visited for a family meal to celebrate Father’s Day. Lovely atmosphere and the customer service was excellent! Everyone enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. Fresh hot food, tasty and great portions. Thanks L’Aquila!
