The atmosphere was amazing, the food was delicious, huge portions and excellent value for money. The staff were engaging, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We had a great time! And I would definitely come back again.

Mario's is becoming our favourite place to go! My lovely husband surprised me with a Valentines meal there and we loved it. We've been back twice since with our son and visiting family members, and everytime the food is awesome and the welcome warm. Mario always makes time to chat and the staff are lovely, nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend whether it's a special occasion or just a cosy treat. See you soon!

The best food in Manchester bar none. Amazing service and great every single time!

Ordered the chicken curry which had a tiny cube of chicken in and the rest was potatoes so asked the waiter if he could get me a new portion with some chicken in. He was very polite and said he would but the second portion wasn't much better and still only had a couple of tiny flakes of chicken in it. Drinks were tasty and have had nice food here before but on this occasion the food was a let down.

My husband and myself recently had lunch at the Rising Moon. Once again food was excellent and the service warm and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here. We have eaten at the Rising Moon on several occasions and have never been disappointed Love this place it also accommodates my dachshund which is fantastic.

Had lunch here, excellent food really friendly staff very approachable. Variety of food on menu to suit all tastes. Would advise taking cash to use as a tip for the lovely staff as unable to add onto your bill

We have eaten here many times and it has always been consistent. This is the first visit that left us slightly disappointed. Firstly the staff were all professional and friendly. The kids meals were great value and the kids enjoyed them, especially the burger and mini donuts. Chips lovely. We ordered the sticky pork off the main menu because I had eaten it the week before and it was fantastic. Unfortunately the portion was so small this time that we had to question whether it was a mistake, we were told it wasn't and this was the normal portion. I would not like to imagine the size of the specials menu version. Lastly and mostly disappointed for the price was the Easter egg special cheesecake. This was terrible. Barely any biscuit and the topping was like whipped angel delite. We usually leave feeling very happy but we were slightly disappointed this time.

Great place so relaxing the guys who was serving and on the bar was really helpful will be going again .

We visited during the 50% off food opening promotion. Unfortunately we were advised that the happy hour drinks deal could not be used in conjunction with that, but understandable that they have to make some money. On the whole, I'd say the menu prices are a bit too much unless there is some sort of deal. ~£12 cocktails and £9.50 for two tacos feels a bit steep and the bill can rack up quickly. However, with the 50% off it was great value and really delicious food. The service was mixed - our drinks order seemed to get forgotten a couple of times, but one of the team members was absolutely lovely (sadly I didn't get his name).

I was first introduced to The Rising Moon by a friend in Hyde and on Sunday met up there with another friend from Sheffield. It is in a lovely countryside setting at Matley with interesting walks roundabout. The menu is very varied and reasonably priced. We both opted for the Topside of Beef in a pepper sauce which was really good. Nicely decorated with friendly, welcoming staff - highly reccommended

Not the best meal. Had the lamb Sunday roast, the veg was very hard, the meat was fatty and it wasn't presented very well. My partner had topside of beef with pepper sauce. The beef was actually slices of processed beef not worth the money. Was sat on table 6 . Not good. Everybody walked past us and it was really cold in the draft.
