The Gatehouse Ale & Aloo – WorsleyFirst time visiting the Sunny bank restaurant. Food was lovely, really tasty and good portions. The drinks were to be desired…! They did say they didn’t have mint for the mojito, so I expected it to be different. But the raspberry was bare minimal topped up with soda & wasn’t mixed. Just tasted like soda really. So just had normal drinks with mixer after that. It was very quiet and chilled, a nice couples evening. I will be returning. But would probably go to the other one.
La Dolce Vita – BuryIncredible service and the most beautiful food across all 3 courses Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning soon Thank you
Sorella Restaurant – OldhamHad a table booked, sat down on the table we were shown to. Took 15 minutes for them to bring us a menu. The waitress who took our order was completely disinterested. Our food arrived and once we started to eat it, we were asked to move from the table we were put on (again, we had booked, didn't just walk in) onto another table in a separate part of the restaurant, mid-meal. If we hadn't already started eating the food we would have left. And they had the nerve to put a service charge on the bill! The 2 tables either side of us both said they also had to wait a long time to be served and one of them had also been asked (but refused) to move tables too. Can't complain about the actual food, it was delicious. We had curry goat, jerk chicken, dumplings and gravy. All tasted fantastic (I recommend the curry goat gravy). I'd just suggest getting it delivered rather than experience that kind of "service". The whole time it felt like they really didn't want us in their restaurant. Wouldn't go back.
The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonHad a booking on a Friday evening, it was very busy, parking is difficult and took ages to order and had to ask, waited 45mins for a garlic bread and another 45mins for main course. Had to chase up the main course and table that had arrived after our booking got meals so service is hot and miss. Food is good when it arrives. Then had to chase them for the bill twice in order to get out 2hrs 15 from arrival. Its a good restaurant, just too busy for the staff they have, probably not do a return visit.
Cafe Italia – BoltonWent to The Rising Moon for the first time. Unfortunately due to a birthday party we were not able to sit in the main dining room, therefore were sat in close proximity to the toilets. Not ideal, but things like this happen. The menu was quite extensive with a good selection of food and what we ordered was of a good standard. Like a lot of pubs, food reasonably priced, but drinks expensive. Overall a pleasant experience.
The Rising Moon – HydeFirst time eating at the Rising Moon. Went Saturday evening (27 April), the pub was very busy and the restaurant had a big party in of 34, staff explained they was a little behide with orders but we said this wasn't a problem. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was gorgeous and we didn't wait long at all.
The Rising Moon – HydeFabulous meal as usual, never had a bad meal here and the staff are lovely, great selection of cocktails too. We will always come back here at each menu rotation as the food and service are top drawer.
Crowded House – BuryFirst time for myself eating at the Rising Moon. I went Saturday evening (27th April), the pub was very busy and the restaurant had a large party of 34, due to this staff explained that they was a little behide with orders, but this wasn't a problem, we didn't wait long at all. The food was gorgeous and the staff were all lovely. Would highly recommend and will be going again.
The Rising Moon – HydeFood was delicious. We could not fault it. Although very busy the service was good and the staff were welcoming and friendly. It is very resonably priced
La Dolce Vita – BuryThe food at the rising moon is always delicious. The home made pies are the best I've tasted by a mile. We came last night with friends who hadn't been before and I recommended the cheese and onion and they were delighted and agreed it was excellent. The only disappointment was that on arrival my partner asked for unicorn and that was the only bitter and it was no longer available that evening. One of my friends asked for JD and coke which was fine but when he asked for another that was no longer available and also no availability on any whiskey. It is the first time I have known it so did stress to not let it put them off. We always enjoy coming to the rising moon. Lovely staff too!
The Rising Moon – HydeMost fantastic restaurant in the North West. Delicious food, gorgeous cocktails and staff that can't do enough. What more can you want. Love it!!!
La Sentidos Loca – WiganLovely meal. We will be back!
Sorella Restaurant – OldhamLovely evening as ever. I love the Art of Tea and would highly recommend. It has such a great ambience and the food was delicious. The hummus starter is so good and my stew of the day which was a chicken and saffron stew was so tasty The staff are always happy to help And the coffee is the best in Didsbury !
The Art of Tea – DidsburyAtmosphere was lovely Food was delicious Steak was exceptional Service was very attentive
L’Aquila Prestwich – PrestwichWent here for birthday meal for my husband 23rd April table booked for 6.30 ordered food at 6.50 at bar six people eating. Food took one hour twenty minutes to arrive with no explanation for the wait other than two tables to serve before us . One guest went home fed up of wait and the fact it was freezing cold in there as well . Three people ordered the platter several items were burnt the chicken, onion bargee not worth the price at all and the wait won’t be going again
The Gatehouse Ale & Aloo – WorsleyFirst visit and we were not disappointed. Service excellent. Good food, good value for money. Plenty to choose from the menu. We were not rushed and given rest time between courses. A great experience. Thank you
