Amazing food. Staff were warm and attentive.

Attentive service from the moment you step through the door nothing is ever too much trouble for Dave, Johanne and the team. Been regulars since they first opened and this weekend decided couldn't be bothered with cooking a Sunday Roast so took advantage of the pick & mix approach on offer. Picking from the choice of roast meats on offer the lamb rump (a favourite from the regular menu), Yorkshire pudding and a gravy boat arrived with Dauphinoise and Roast potatoes along with pancetta in peas which really hit the spot when accompanied by a decent, and not over priced, bottle of red wine. Well fed the Easter special dessert unfortunately had to be avoided - still there is always next time.

We were a party of 5, we all had different main courses each was delicious. We shared the nachos for starters, I always look forward to them everytime and they didnt disappoint. We will be back.

The staff were really lovely. The restaurant itself is nicely presented. I was a little disappointed with the food though. I got a spicy duck main, there were 4 thin slices of duck in my meal, which was REALLY disappointing, it's like they'd chopped up chunky peppers to make it look like there was more meat in it. I can honestly say the sauce was identical to the sharwoods tikka sauce from a jar too. Which again was really strange and disappointing. Our order was wrong/we had things missing, but that's because the waiter didn't write anything down and just tried to remember. It was also very strange when we tried to pay, they had a card machine but wanted us to pay cash, they let us pay half cash half card at the end. Very strange from the staff. I've wanted to go to this restaurant for a long time, but it was a solid 5/10.

Saturday evening couples meal, the restaurant was looking lovely, clean and fresh. Staff very attentive, service was quick and efficient. The food did not disappoint either, it was excellent. We'll definitely be booking again

This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend, And it did not disappoint. For the first time in a long time my food came out hot, fresh and was very nice. The safe are also super, I would defiantly recommend it, Lovely little place amazing food, and good value for money.

Had breakfast with Peter rabbit and it was amazing very child friendly food was lovely quick service and very understanding of a baby who may have been scared of the rabbit

My first visit here was on a Sunday for my birthday meal, we all opted for the Sunday Roasts. Everyone really enjoyed their food, the selection on the menu was great. Furthermore the selection of desserts was impressive to. Needless to say I visited Fatloaf again a week later and this time I had the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. Good selection of drinks also, friendly staff and good atmosphere, looking forward to future visits.

We absolutely coming here with our dog, Paddy. We've been here a few times now and it's always quality food, even when busy. It's a great idea having a relaxed pub atmosphere with a curry - and it's always incredible! Lovely thought out menu where you can choose your spice level with lots of sides & extras available. Even got standard pub grub as an options if someone doesn't like curry!! We're veggie but still lots of choice for us. The staff are always really welcoming and there's lots of beer/wine/cocktails choice as well. Highly recommended!

Great place!

We love coming here with our dog, Paddy. We've been a few times now and it's been fantastic every time. It's such a great idea to have a relaxed pub atmosphere with great curry and drinks. A pool table and darts on one side, 'restaurant' on the other. There is a lovely thought out menu where you can choose your spice level with a great choice of curries as well as lots of small plates and things like burgers and topped nans! We've only had the curries and Indian small plates so far but there's even options for people who don't like curry (traditional pub grub) - they even do a Sunday roast that we've not tried yet. We're veggie and there's lots of choice for us on the menu, with nice beer options as well as wines/cocktails. The food and service has been brilliant and it's definitely quickly become one of our regular options. We've eaten at a lot of curry places (guilty) and this is HIGHLY recommended!

Lovely place for food and cocktails. Great price for the portions you get. Fab service as well considering the restaurant was fully booked!

Our lovely village has its own lovely bistro...who needs the ferry to Calais

This is our favourite eaterie in Wigan by a mile, excellent food, service and value for money, never coming out hungry. Although a busy and noisy night, the staff coped really well, definitely be back soon
