On Sunday, 4th January, as a party of 16, we visited the restaurant, where a wonderful waitress named Caroline took care of us. Right away, when I booked the venue online, I found the communication efficient and professional. I needed to make a few adjustments to the numbers, and they handled them seamlessly. Caroline was attentive and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Our meals were delicious; I had a Sunday roast which was fit for a queen, and there was plenty to eat. I had a wonderful time at your restaurant and will most certainly be back. I can't thank you enough for that.

I prebooked a table for 2 for Friday 2nd January 2026. On arrival staff were very welcoming and took us to our table giving us the menu each immediately and explained the "specials menu". The restaurant was obviously busy with it being holiday weekend and also being newly opened but the delay in taking our order was quite extreme, yes they apologised for the delay but the length of time wasn't really acceptable. They need 1 other member of staff which would make a big difference. The food that we ordered was lovely and portion size was plentiful for big eaters. I took half of mine home. Couldn't fault the food which we had, yes it's a little expensive but like anything you get what you pay for. Would definitely visit again.

The food is always delicious and plenty. Nice friendly atmosphere and lovely staff. We came with family for the new year's eve party for first time. Wasn't keen on the DJs music choices and it was pretty empty so it lacked a bit of atmosphere - not the pubs fault. Would have been nice to have more people, of different ages. Dancing space may have been wetter in back room so feel less spectated. Lol Maybe could do a quiz night or karaoke instead.

We love going to las santidos loca in Wigan, it’s one our favourite restaurants. There is always a good atmosphere and the staff are always friendly. The food is great and we are never hungry after leaving

As I’m coeliac, there is no other restaurant in this area that makes a mouth watering Pizza like Cafe Italia does! Other food they serve is always delicious. Ever had a bad meal there. Continue to do what you are doing. Well done to all .

Great food , fast hot and tasty

We went for our daughter's birthday dinner. It was our first time there. We'd heard so many good things from friends who had been there before, and we weren't disappointed. The evening was fantastic. Thank you so much, and we'll definitely be back.

A great venue with lovely staff and a stunning location. Food is tasty, decent portions but nothing special. Menu is extremely wide ranging and very accommodating. This is my grandads favourite place, so its the only reason we go. But it's not bad at all. And everyone can find something on the menu they will enjoy eating. It's lovely to go to for a meal and a good walk. Staff are lovely and a credit to the business. The food can be improved and the service and value for money are good, but not spectacular. I have tried the following dishes so far: tandoori chicken, sunday roast, chicken curry, veg stir fry, chicken fajitas, liver and onion gravy, cottage pie, steak pie, and all the deserts. Food is comparable to wetherspoons but slightly more expensive. Consistently a 6-8 out of 10 and fairly priced. The building and facilities are lovely and well looked after. If they did a menu overhaul and streamlined it a bit and improved the recipes, it could be a fantastic place to eat. I think it suffers from doing too many main dishes and thus not excelling in any. Chicken curry with rice and chips is one my family likes the most. Sticky toffee pudding with custard is noteworthy also. The main positives of the place are the location, staff and the furnishing of the building.

Book a table for 6 people a lunchtime celebration The rising moon is very warm and welcoming and the staff are very friendly. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for our meals to arrive at the table… once we received them the food was delicious !! Several things on the menu were unavailable chicken curry being 1 A sweet was also requested but unfortunately unavailable but overall it was a pleasant experience

We booked for my sons birthday. I gave them some stuff to decorate the table and they did that beautifully for us. The food as usual was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. Had a lovely time, the staff made my sons birthday special so thanks!!

Food was lovely as always but service was very slow, we were there around 45 mins before we were delivered our starters and drinks order, and tables around us who had arrived later had received their food before us (table of three).
