The Rising Moon – HydeFantastic food & service. Generous size portions at a great price! Really enjoyed and will definitely go again!
La Sentidos Loca – WiganAs usual, excellent food, service and ambiance Would definitely recommend. One of the best, if not the best, Italian in the area.
Papa Luigis – WiganTurned up for booking but our table had been shuffled around so we had to sit on on a high table in the middle. Nobody came to get a drinks order for 5-10 mins so ordered mains at the same time. Asked for rump steak medium-rare and turned up well done. They took the whole plate away and was sat there for 10mins watching my guests eat and other people receive their food while mine was remade. Steak better 2nd time round. Nothing off the bill, no free drink. £25 per head (Mains and drinks only) Will not be going again.

The Rising Moon – HydeEarly bird menu is fantastic value for money. Great food, lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Papa Luigis – WiganWe had the pre performance meal which was v. good. Very busy as the customers were all going to the performance but service was still quite acceptable as there were many waiters/ waitresses. Not cheap but good value for money. Would go again.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreNot been to Gio's since pre lockdown. Not much is different. Still mad busy, still lovely food, still great service! All good!
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreThe food was amazing and the staff were lovwly and friendly
Amma’s Canteen – ChorltonWe had such high hopes for Amma’s having read all the reviews, but to be honest we were disappointed. I love chilli usually but we found it too hot which killed the flavour (for us), I could have done with a chilli rating on the menu or options to have it milder. The staff were completely friendly but quite confusing about the menu and allergens and our server had such a loud voice we had to listen to every table’s order in detail. It killed the vibe in a small space. The cauliflower bezule was really unusual and I did like it, aside from the chilli burn, which meant I had to drink beer with every mouthful. I enjoyed the chicken dosa but didn’t love it, it looked amazing but was much drier than others I’ve had, even with the sides and again it was a bit hotter than I was comfy with to really enjoy it (although not as hot as other things). We also had a slow cooked beef curry which was the hottest of all and I found the flavour really harsh as well as hot, I was expecting more mellow and unctuous. I couldn’t eat it after the first spoonful. Lots of others seem to hugely rate it, so maybe it’s just us. I was sad we didn’t love it.
Amma’s Canteen – ChorltonExcellent food, excellent service, very relaxed atmosphere and extremely accommodating
Crowded House – BuryI know Giorgio's a long time as we used to eat there with the whole family when visiting Manchester each year. This was my first time back in years from Ireland and I have to be honest and say, it will be a long time before I go back again. Lovely food but atmosphere, setting and the way everything was just so rushed plus the fact we were sat next to extremely drunk people, but I’m afraid for me Giorgio’s, we won’t be back, sad to say as we had many happy memories. The personal touch is gone
