Fabulous food and service. Will defo return!

Excellent food, good atmosphere, friendly staff and good value for money

We met up with good friends that we’d not seen for a few weeks. Great atmosphere, no rush to order because we were talking so much, lovely food and nice wine. Great bistro atmosphere, we’ll definitely be back

Me and my boyfriend came to enjoy the pre-show meal before we went to see the Book of Mormon. We decided to have a nice meal, and this place was easy to make reservations at. We were greeted wonderfully and the wine list was good. We got a bottle of rose wine which was absolutely gorgeous. The starters were amazing, particularly my boyfriend’s bbq chicken wings (I would recommend heavily). We both had the rib eye steak and I have to say it was one of the best steaks I have ever tried. Absolutely gorgeously cooked and practically melted in my mouth. The pepper sauce was also divine and all the additional extras on the plate were perfect. Will definitely be coming again, especially before a show!

6 of us went for a meal on a Sunday. We booked for 6.30 which was the latest slot as some of our party were travelling up from Cambridge. 2 days before I got a phone call to ask if we could pre-order to ensure they had not run out of food. We did this and changed our booking to 6. We had burgers, the chicken roast, the beef roast and peri peri chicken. Everyone thought the food was excellent. The beef roast was particularly good: a huge portion of melt in the mouth meat, lots of fresh well cooked vegetables and very tasty gravy. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We'd all definitely go back.

Had a pre theatre meal. Lovely staff, cordial and welcoming. Fixed price menu was basic and a little limiting. Food was fine perhaps steak was over ambitious. Ideal restaurant for pre theatre not sure I’d go just for an evening out.

We were wandering around the city centre to find somewhere to eat. thought about the Corn Exchange but then realised most were chains. However I knew Salvi's to be a local small group so we went there. Very impressed with the food. Pasta Vongole and a Salvi pizza were both far better than the usual Italian fayre. Really enjoyed the cauliflower and caper salad too. good wine to match. would recommend.

We tend to eat at Giorgios when going to a gig at the Ritz or (more usually) a theatre performance at the Palace. The food is great, and the pre theatre menu is very good value, with good portion sizes and plenty of variety. The staff are wonderful, very friendly and attentive. We'll certainly be back!

Hunan and great little Chinese restaurant in Chinatown in Manchester. It's on the first floor and serves very good food. Their lunch menu great value!

Excellent pre-theatre meal, the food was fabulous and the staff were brilliant.

Went to Gio on sat 27th July 19 with my wife and another couple. We can honestly say that we all had one of the best meals we have ever had. Three of us choose from the set menu at £30pp, and the other from the main menu. The starters were lovely, just enough, and the mains were almost perfection. My friend had “steak Diane“ off the set menu, and he said he’s never had a steak as good, and only a few weeks before we had been to Miller & Carter, but the steak Gio was the best he’s had. The dessert were lovely, I had lemon meringue pie & cream, very very nice. Staff were very friendly and not overwhelming at all. Total bill including 1 bottle of wine & 4 bottles of beer came in at just under £180 for 4 persons. I highly recommend Gio, and we will definitely be going back.
