Tokyo Season – Manchester City CentreMyself, two other adults and my son visited Efes on 14/09/2009 for the buffet. You pay according to the time slot you visit. There is so much variety to choose from such as salad, bread, pizza, lasagna, spaghetti, different choice of rice dishes, onion rings, various meaty dishes, cold salads (e.g. potato salad, pasta salad). To finish there are profiteroles, plus two other cakes or for the more health conscious grapes and melon. As it is buffet style you eat as much as you like. Four very hungry people tucked in and found all our tastes "satisfied" and as a vegetarian I didn't feel left out. The restaurant has a relaxing feel (we visited at around 5pm) due to the subtle background music. We left with full tummies and it only came to £28 for all four - Bargain!
Efes Restaurant & Taverna – Manchester City CentreVisit 3 times in aug/sept very good & very varied food served promptly by smiling &cheerful staff, food is very nice.i will come again.
Cherry Tree – HaleWent there on a Saturday night which was very busy, did not have to wait as we were immediately attended and seated in our table. Excellent service, competant waiters who were friendly and able to explain the dishes to us. The Tandoori haddock and the Lamb Nihari is a must have. The nihari is one of the best curries I have ever had. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great meal out.
Zouk Tea Bar – Manchester City CentreWe went to Damson and had a good eating experience. The restaurant is still a developing project, with small niggles such as the draught when the door opens, but the food was high quality, beautifully cooked and served in a friendly relaxed fashion. Just pushing the boundaries of expensive, the staff make up for it with fine food and good wines, which is why we went and would go again. Best of luck to them, and keep the rabbit on the menu!
Damson – Stockporta superb restaurant. This restaurant has all 5 YES: Quality- Quantity-Service - Price-Time (if order delivery or takeaway). My family keeps coming back to Dalat almost every week. The best !!!

Chef a top lad, took time to talk to us and looked like had a good team working with him. Cant wait to call again. 110 out of 110 from us. The 42 crewe.
Fahrenheit Bar & Grill – Manchester City CentreFirst visit yesterday, courtesy of the excellent reviews on this page.On arrival at 5pm i was very very sceptical as the place was empty and the decor, although clean, leaves alot to be desired. We sat down and ordered, with the very helpful assistance of the waiter and, while waiting for the food, slowly the place began to fill up which was very reassuring given my initial impressions! On arrival the food, which smelt fantastic while cooking, tasted even better,i had the shashlic with onion rice and was extremely impressed as were my fellow diners with their choices.Highly recommended and proof you should never judge a book by the cover!(however, please hire a new decorator!!)
Coriander – ChorltonWe went to La Lupa at the weekend. This was our first time and most of didn't even know about it. The atmosphere was warm and friendly just what you expect of an italian eatery. As there was a big group of us we all ordered different starters and mains all was excellent not a bad word said. The waiting staff was brilliant and catered to our every need. Worth a visit as this is a little hidden gem!
We ate at the City Cafe on Friday Evening. The food was absolutely delightful , a mouthwatering menu.Fabulous Lamb , wonderful desserts served by the most professional waitress we have had for some time. Highly recommended.
Mint – Manchester City Centreid recommend the windmill denton to everybody.the meals are lovely and cheap too.the staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is great.the children seem to enjoy themselves too.i love going there and it saves me cooking sometimes too .
Windmill – AudenshawLa Roma is the best place to eat out in the area. Can't name the number of times we've eaten there now - I've lost count! The children are always made really welcome and the teddy bear shaped pizza is a firm favourite with my children. The service is really friendly and the food is good value. The house wine is also excellent. Highly recommended.
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonThis restaurant is now called Mr Ali's - same people, same food. We have been going to this restaurant for 15 years. The food is fabulous, reasonably priced and they do the best garlic nan ever.

Nam Ploy – BoltonSecond visit to Zouk and was impressed again,as good as Akbars and EastZEast'S similar types.35 quid for 3 of us more than enough,no drinks though, very busy Friday night but we didn't need to book.Parking maybe a problem but we got lucky.Recommended.
Zouk Tea Bar – Manchester City CentreTHE best chip shop in Bolton.
Chae’s – Boltonmy wife is currently in hospital and as a treat, thought i'd get a decent takeout, rather than the usual rubbish. what a mistake that turned out to be. i asked for a salmon pasta along with a meal for my wife. they told me salmon pasta wasn't on the menu but they'd make it for me anyway - great! having left my wife in hospital, i collected the food (nearly £30 for 2 pastas & garlic bread - had read good reviews so didn't mind paying for good food) having got back to my wife's side, i discovered that my pasta had prawns in it. i don't eat seafood, so called to complain. the way i was treated i still can't believe now. they were so rude and obtuse, i almost had to hang up on them i was so shocked. they said 'we thought we were doing you a favour?' not much of a favour to someone who doesn't eat seafood, and why not ask if i wanted prawns when i was on the phone? it looks like a lot of their pasta dishes have prawns in and they were too lazy to make a fresh sauce. i still cannot believe how outright rude the were to me. they eventually agreed to refund me the 14.95 for the pasta i can't eat and suggested i don't go there again which i certainly won't. ironic thing is that their name means friends/friendly (i think). ps the garlic bread was very nice :-)
