What a wonderful restaurant. the music, food, drinks, desserts, staff and management are all wonderful. i really enjoy eating here. i cannot thank you all enough for everything. Keep up the excellent work! Thank you! If you want a restaurant that delivers excellent food and service, look no further than here. in my personal opinion there is no better place that the little yang sing. i thoroughly enjoy myself when i come here, be it with friends or family. i always feel as though i'm not a customer but a friend. the reason being is because all the staff are so friendly and wonderful. thank you all very much. Keep up the most excellent work!

I’d heard many good reviews about San Carlo on King Street West, and so when celebrating my promotion at work, I thought we should try out the infamous San Carlo. It was full of gorgeous people - the guests, the waiters, and the management. The food was just divine too. We tried a couple of dishes off the sea food menu and was overly impressed by the quality, and quantity of the dishes that arrived. The fish seemed to be quite a popular choice with other diners too, as we only heard positive remarks throughout the evening. A highly enjoyable night, and a very suitable place to celebrate something special.

Went to Via during Pride. Meal was excellent although a tad pricey.

My husband's parents took us to Nutters last week for Sunday lunch and I feel compelled to recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone!! My husband and I eat out a lot and have been disappointed in restaurants on many occasions - this was NOT one of them! I can honestly say that I could not fault the food in any way, we chose from the set lunch menu, there were 4 choices of starter, main and pudding and we all ate something different, everything was beautifully presented and delicious and for only £22 per person it included coffee and petit fours and represented outstanding value for money. On the downside, the service was not great, the staff were not particularly friendly and although they were efficient there was a lack of continuity - we had around 7 different members of staff waiting on us over the course of our meal. My only other grumble would be the appearance, although the setting of the restaurant is lovely, being a large house set in it's own grounds with a sweeping driveway and well kept gardens, the interior decor is quite old fashioned and would benefit from a refurbishment. A nice touch are the wines and jewellery for sale in the entrance and the complimentary petit fours with the coffees. We have booked to return to this restaurant for our second wedding anniversary in October - I love it!

The best food ever and great value for money! Okay, the deco isn't great, but the food definitely compensates for this. BYO, order just a few starters and share with your friends and you pay £10 on average.... hardly beatable by any other restaurant in Manchester with QUALITY food.

A Tokyo Season is a shame to the vibrant restaurant in Manchester. My friends and I, i.e. a group of 5, visited the restaurant on a Saturday night. When asked about what drinks to order upon arrival, we simply said we needed a little time to settle down first. The waitress seemed disgusted by our request to delay our drinks order. After a while, we made our order for food and drink. (Mind you, they charge green tea by the cup, so no free refill unlike other Japanese restaurants) It took over 30 minutes for the food to arrive. To our disappointment, the portions were small and the quality of the food was not good. The deep fried pork fillet I had was all soggy. The food my friends ordered were not up to standard as well. To make matters worse, the manager and the waitress started removing our chopsticks even though there was still a few pieces of sashimi left on the table (we were sharing among us). I told the manager that I wanted to keep my pair of chopsticks while he was taking them away, and he asked me in a rather rude tone why. I had to point out that there were still food left to be eaten before he unwillingly returned my cutlery. In all, we were rushed for no reason, as, including us, there were only 2 tables occupied that evening. Unless you want a frustrated night out, I would not recommend this restaurant to you.

Went for my birthday with my girlfriend and friends who came down from London.Have always enjoyed turkish cuisine especially after my holiday to Alanya.Very disappointing meal. Staff took a long time to sort a table out.To be honest the waitress ignored us for 20 minutes even though several tables were empty. Food was below average.Plates and cutlery were dirty and my friend had to ask for his cutlery to be replaced.Wont be going back.

myself,my partner, friend and my 3 year old boy dined here on a busy Saturday afternoon. the service was quick, very polite waiters as soon as we seated my boy was entertained by the colouring crayons already on the table (to which i thought this was excellent). We all ate of the lunch express menu which was6.95 for two items. I had the vietnamese? dishes and they were fantastic ,my boys meal was OK but he isn't really used to eating fried veg.

Wouldn't eat there again. Service was terrible! We ordered a starter and main course only to be told when the main course was being served to everyone at our table (9people) that they didn't have 1 of the dishes available - so two of us had to reorder and eat when everyone else at the table had finished. We also ordered 2 side orders of garlic bread with cheese with the main course to be told again that they didn't have this as the chef had thrown it away! The had also ran out of two of the deserts!

We thought we already knew which our favourite Italian restaurant was, but eating at San Marino's changed all that! Faultless service, food, surroundings and amazing prices. Extensive menu, so much so that we have already chosen our meals for our return visit. Highly recommended!

Tried Mezzaluna last week as was recommended by friends, first impression was nice modern decor, and food was excellent, good size portions with reasonable prices, attentive service. Although there are just a couple of small points that don't match the quality of the food and decor, I do agree with the below reader re the white paper napkins? nice concept with an open kitchen but the chefs didn't look very smart, and i noticed one waiter wore a navy tshirt with a black shirt?~ Perhaps that's just me being too observant!

Finally got round to eating at La Salsa after months of driving by & making mental notes to try it. It was definitely worth waiting for!! The menu is extensive & every dish we tried was gorgeous; very fresh & authentic - a major difference from the chain down the round. Service was great; the staff were there as soon as needed but not intrusive. At £8.50 for as many tapas as you like it's worth every penny (& probably more!!). Drinks - Sangria & pints of Cruz Campo - added to the bill, but certainly not excessively. Bolton town centre is short of good, independent restaurants - particularly that don't serve Italian! - & La Salsa is just what the town needs!! Will DEFINITELY eat there again & will recommend.

We went to ambiente on a Thursday evening for the first time. It was not to busy and had a choice of the three different rooms to dine in- the terrace, the bar or the seating area- in which we ate. We ordered tapas for starter, the Paella de Ambient for main and a bottle of the Spanish house red. The food was very good, our tapas of seared scallops and Moroccan lamb was delicious. Our paella was bursting with flavour and full of meat and fish. My only slight disappointment was that the paella was slightly over cooked, the calamari was too dry and some of the paella had burnt at the bottom of the pan. The restaurant is well decorated and feels like an authentic Spanish restaurant- the loo's are worth a visit just for the deco. The staff and service was pleasant and friendly. A great dining experience!! I would go again and would recommend this to friends.

We first visited this restaurant around 5 weeks ago and have been back 3 times since. My first impression was how pleasant the surroundings are, lovely, bright & clean with a very warm welcome from Mr Khan and his staff. The menu is extremely inviting and details a host of well known dishes along with a variety of specials. If you are new to Indian food just give this place a try without hesitation, Mr Khan will recommend dishes for the new taste buds, alternatively, if you go on a Sunday they provide a buffet style option where you can try a number of dishes from a help yourself table which is a great introduction to Indian food. The chef here is just fantastic, everything is beautifully cooked and presented and nothing is too much trouble for the staff here. All in all a 10/10 from me and we will be back on Saturday to introduce some friends to the place. Mr Khan is a lovely person and most hospitable and he enjoys a chat with his customers. Never found a better place to eat Indian food since this place. Try it a see for yourself

The all-vegetarian menu is small-ish with a broadly Eastern slant. Nothing too inspiring, but prepare to be pleasantly surprised: the chef has a know-how with herbs and spices you'd normally associate with somewhere far more pretentious and French. Every dish has at least three more interesting flavours than you were expecting. I had the famous bangers & mash, and it was outstanding in all areas. The downside was that it was, ultimately, bangers & mash: like most of the menu, it was unseasonal for summer and clearly inspired by meatier cuisine, and I tend to think vegetarian cooking is at its best when it dares to be different.
