Tend to go here after taking our children to the wacky warehouse next door, the food was lovely and good portion sizes, even get 2 for the price of 1 on selected meals. my biggest problem was with the high chairs, we took 4 children all needing high chairs and not one was clean, this was at 12 noon, so not peek rush time. the young girl who came to clean the chairs turned up with the disinfectant spray very quickly but used to duster she had been cleaning the bar with. I won't even mention the straps. There really isn't too much excuse for this, especially considering the kids seating areas are the bit that needs a little more attention than most areas. Other than that though, would advise it as the wacky warehouse bit next door has recently been refurbished and the staff I have come across are really friendly and helpful.

The Cinnamon has had a trendy makeover. its now modern and bright. I had a great dish from the house specials, the Chicken Mansoor. Similar to a Jalfrezi but tastier. go and give it a try!

i visited here last night and have to say everything from the starter, through main and sweet and coffee was absolutely 1st class, no greasy chins or shirt ruined, as in many other curry houses. very helpful and attentive staff, i adored the coriander and onion rice, and cant wait to go again to sample the bengal rice pudding, it is delicious. definitely going back

We've been going regularly for years and would miss it like mad if we ever left Manchester. Our favourite restaurant ever. A little gem and the fact that's it "hidden" behind the Take Away makes it even more special... staff very friendly too. We're made to feel like returning friends...

I have been to Sunar Gaw several times and I can honestly say it's fantastic. The location isn't the best, however the food more than makes up for it, every dish I've had from here has been delightful and its stupidly cheap too, I'm always amazed when the bill comes. The staff are also really friendly, what more can I say it's a belter.

Rusholme is okay but if you want quality over quantity get down to the Nawab Failsworth for the best curry in Manchester. If it's your first time, the Lamb Chop starter is a must. Like one of the previous reviewers, I also really rate Aloo Bukhara or Karahi Murgh main courses. You have to have the Peshwari Nan as a side order. Warning - prepare to be disappointed if you order these dishes elsewhere as they won't be as good.

all good but you do have to wait for food don’t go for paella if hungry it takes 45 mins at least

For my husband to be impressed by the food at any restaurant it has to be exceptional - he loves the food in Petra which says something!! We have recommended Petra to many friends who have all enjoyed the food, the service and the evening - All have returned again and again, as have we?!

There are two Italian restaurants in Standish and both opened at about the same time. If you want an Italian meal prepared by Italian chefs in a wonderful atmosphere, go to the Olive Garden and not the other one. I've been several times to the Olive Garden and a couple of times to the other place - Olive Garden's pizza and garlic bread are absolutely delicious and cannot be beaten.

We visited for the 2 course Sunday lunch (£8.95 for two courses). The food was great and the service attentive but unobtrusive. Will definitively be having the Sunday lunch again in the near future.

The food here was very good indeed. We had the green and red curries, which were creamier than most thai curries, and very tasty. The restaurant seemed to be suffering from a few teething problems still, as far as service and organisation are concerned, but the food more than made up for it. Finally we can buy thai food on Beech Road! :)

The spicy hut continues to be the place to eat on the curry mile, we often try other places now and again, but always return to the Spicy Hut. The service is spot on and the food always good. Another point is that they don't skimp on the portions of rice etc. so you always leave "full as a house". David from Timperley

The food at the restaurant is pretty good but the attitude of the maitre d' is appalling.The rest of the staff were helpful. Food takes a long time to come. Even the starters!?!.

Good food and more importantly good wine. Better atmosphere than La Tasca, really surprised it's part of the same chain as the food was far superior.

Much, much better than Deansgate restaurant. My partner is very fussy but he liked everything we ordered. Staff happy to move us away from smokey bar upon request. Generally a very enjoyable evening.
