Successfully made a booking on Saturday 13th October for 4 for a pre-theatre dinner for 5.30 on Sunday 14th October. When we arrived we were informed that there were no bookings for that evening and that the restaurant was closed for a private function. I told the lady at the door that I had made the booking and given my name and telephone number as requested, but she repeated that there were no bookings and said very rudely that she had been working the previous day and had taken no bookings. There was no hint of an apology and needlessly to say we went away very disappointed and hungry, then having to tramp around Manchester to find another restaurant before our theatre engagement. Not a very good introduction to El Rincon, but then again we do things rather different in England, don't we?

Excellent value for money and very efficient service.

We think the food is fantastic, been there loads of times. When discussing restaurants with friends we rave about the place. Even my dad is going to try it out this weekend so wait to see his review if you are really fussy.

ı eat at the three arrows regularly at least once a week ın fact and the food the service and the atmosphere ıs outstanding sue and Stuart are fab and so friendly as well as the waiting staff.

Having read fantastic reviews on a number of sites we got the tram last Friday to try this restaurant. How dissappointing. The service was pushy and rushed (we sat, ordered, ate and had the bill within 60 mins). The first time the waiter came over we asked for some more time, 2 mins later a waitress came over, agian we asked for more time, less than 5 mins later we gave up reading the extensive menu and aksed for a recommendation. She pointed to the mixed starter - we chose option B. I don't think it could have been worse if they tried - a plate of deep fried samosas, spring roles etc that were heavy, greasy and didn't taste fresh at all. Our bottle of wine arrived - luke warm - when we pointed this out it was put in a cooler with ice and water which as we all know takes ages to cool down - we ended up drinking the wine warm. Less than 10 mins after the starters left out mains arrived, the phad thai and green curry were good but the beef muslim curry was dissapointing - but the aftertaste of the starters still lingered.... All and all not a great expereince - maybe it was an off night. If you really like Thai try the Dee Thai in Hale - it's the same price (if not marginally cheaper), serves really fresh tasting thai food, excellent wine (even by the glass) does an express £8.50 lunch and in my humble opinion is fantastic.

Recently went here with a group of friends and was really pleased to discover such a lovely Thai in Chorlton. The food was fresh aromatic and delicious and I particularly enjoyed the mixed starter for two (Could have eaten it all over again). Will definitely return as soon as I get a chance!

carvery very good,basic food on rest of menu. great if you like chips with everything. but for the price you can't expect gourmet food.

We have visited HaHa three times since it has opened and the service is fantastic - the best we have come across for a bar chain. It is a little quiet as I think a lot of people are not aware that it is open, I hope the quality of service and food will continue to be 100% when it gets busier.

I have been visiting Nam Ploy now for well over a year, it is a stunning place and the food is out of this world. We eat out on a regular basis and there is few places we revisit but we are always drawn back to Nam Ploy. The Staff are lovely and the service is second to none, they make you feel really special. We have even been getting takeaways from there when we are not in the mood for going out. I think it has to be one of the best places to eat out in the area,it is simply stunning, they also have private dinning rooms. You must go and try it, as soon as you walk through the door you know its going to be a special gem of a restaurant.

Absolute find. Varied, well cooked and presented food. Attentive staff and amazing value. Cannot recommend it highly enough!

The, now Blue Nile, was an exceptional night out. We had mixed starters, a Balti Kashmiri and a house special called the "exotica". Both of which were perfect. The restaurant was full and buzzing. The cobra beer was tasty. What more do you need from a curry house!

Best kebab I've ever had!

we went too this so called award winning restaurant which was recommended from your site it was the worst three courses that myself & my wife have had. Also i am a chef so when the manager tried to make the excuse that is how it should be i just had to laugh. so please do not recommend this restaurant anymore.

The waiters are all spoiled French brats, who hardly ever lift a finger. I am disgusted by their behavior. The waiter who served my table called my wife a whore, when she tried to attract her attention.

food arrived cold, when i was brave and asked mine to be sent back it was returned with a bit mark in, my my i hope that was mine! upon leaving the manager seemed shocked that i thought it was unacceptable to have to send your food back before i enjoyed my meal, so if u don't mind the wait and like to look at, pick at and sample your food before u get to wait for it after yet another wait then please frequent here, oh did i mention the cost for what u get, hmm go across to the red robin and you'll get better food for two for the same cost as one meal at f and b's

this restaurant claims to be one of the best around, but i would say the food is bland, over cooked and poor quality and the wine...the white is warm, cheap plonk, beware the only thing tempting here is the set menu price but keep driving u'll come to better just down the road!

It was the worst 'Spanish' meal i have ever eaten and I would go as far as saying it was disgusting. The meatballs tasted like they had come out of a tin and the potatoes were covered in what looked like tomato soup, there was nothing Spanish about either dish. The presentation was dismal and the service was average at best. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Not one of the best chinese meals we've ever had - went post-theatre perhaps this was the downfall, never waited so long for crispy duck! Sept 2007
