i have to say that having read the reviews on here i decided to try out this place and i was a little bit doubtful as to it living up to the remarks on here but...... great food and of a sort i have never seen let alone tried before first class in both service and food quality and we went on a tuesday for the 2-1 deal and 4 of us ate for less than £30 thanks for letting us know

Excellent food, nice atmosphere and excellent. I've eaten here about 8 times and everytime we've really enjoyed the food. Very well priced! Not sure what the previous comment is relating to.

We still really enjoy visiting the Choy Hing & never get bored. Thankfully there is now a lovely Chardonnay by the glass. We always ask for a downstairs sitting as the ambience is better in the downstairs restaurant than upstairs. Steve is smashing. Bring back his wife!!

"You want chippy tray"? I haven? washed the korma stain off my shirt since the first time I tasted it's creamy goodness. I particularly recommend one portion of korma, one portion of chips, 2 poppodoms, 1 naan AND LOTS OF SWEET FIZZY DELICIOUS COKE to wash it down (better make that two bottles). NB Next time you go in, ask if Abdul if working. Oh, and three little words of advice: "ALWAYS GO LARGE". Supersize me baby.

Excellent starters were followed by the most succulent and perfectly cooked chicken, shish kebab and superb lamb chops. Complimented by fresh salads, rice, warm pitta bread and eye watering chilli sauce. We drunk a bottle of Turkish red wine that set the whole meal off very well. Price was a touch under fifty pounds for two which represents very good value for cooking that is this good.

After seeing them on sky news I travelled 25 miles to try them, I must say it was worth every mile. superb bindi murgh. highly recommended

I have and will continue to recommend this restaurant to all my Family friends and colleague. I have been many times with my husband and we have found that the staff are excellent at their job and are more than happy to help you with your choices and with any slight changes to the meal requested. They all really do look happy to be working together to make your experience as good as it can be, ensuring a repeat visit. The food is consistently good no matter what you choose, you can also tell that produce is used is fresh. Please if you are ever in the area give it a try you will be pleasantly surprised.

I have been going to the Bilash since I was 4 I? now 19 and I go on a regular basis. Even thought I have been to many Curry houses b4 I have never tasted any curry quiet like the Bilash. 10/10 my number 1 for restaurant! Anthony Mully.

sorry everyone hold on there, after reviewing Manchester? newest Indian restaurant, I may have got carried away. yes the food was still excellent and the service(once your at the table) was still v good, BUT we had a terribly long wait on a very busy Saturday night, and with the only choice of expensive bottled cobra for the beer drinkers plus a very noisy, giddy, young crowd, in fact there were several undesirables wandering around the place when we visited. food/service/cost excellent, unfortunately frequented by some right wallys. back to eastz east for us.

Excellent food, very welcoming and friendly staff. Once you eat here you wont want to try any of the other Rusholme restaurants. I recommend the malta curry sauce.

I can't believe some of the previous reviewers comments - I couldn't fault the service, certainly not at that price. The food was lovely. I'd definitely recommend it.

We visited for the first time on Friday 30 September 2006. Would probably rate it as the best restaurant in Manchester. A lot of style without the fake glam of a lot of places and delivers on the food brilliantly. The staff are excellent especially on the wine recommendations and the whole evening seemed as if it finished too quickly

Not to be missed are the straw chips! Very friendly service, if a little slow occasionally due to the fact that the chef prepares all meals from fresh ingredients. Also greatly appreciated is that they are happy to accommodate allergies and meal preferences and I have found them to be obliging in adapting dishes to suit diners needs.

Best curry I've had in ages - definitely lives up to what they say on the website - not greasy but still really tasty and some dishes you don't find in all curry houses. Only had takeaway but staff were friendly. Definitely don't be put off by the slightly strange bright green exterior.

Wow this is the best place ever it is so much better than Starbucks if you really want a good coffee head here and you wont be disappointed. I t would be a real shame to visit Manchester and not visit Manchester. A fantastic little place with friendly devoted service. By far my favourite Coffee spot in Manchester.
