Ate here about a week ago. The food was the best we have eaten in Manchester for a good 12 months. And I mean the best food, not just the best Punjabi food. Everything was freshly prepared (be prepared to wait a little longer than usual) and very tasty. Flavours balanced and in abundance. Even the pickle tray has 8 - 9 home made pickles with full descriptions underneath the little bowls, which is fun and useful. Massive selection of dishes, including plenty of fresh fish. Try the Cod starter. We are restaurant owners and are pretty hard to please, but we left this place with a massive smile on our faces. A bit out of the city centre - it? on the Ibis hotel on Princess Street, but there? easy parking at multi-storey across the road. They deserve to do very well.

Good food, nice surroundings, albeit a tad on the noisy side. Very enjoyable meal.

One of the only Indian restaurants I will eat in Bolton as they are generally greasy and yukky. Good clean food and restaurant recently refurbished, not bad at all

It? a chain - but I have to say the Bolton branch are fantastic - they make the best pizza's - really crispy bases and well cooked. The venue is lovely - an old bank with loads of period features - great place for a party and they cater for large bookings

We go here often as it is just down the road form us. I have to say that whilst I think the actual pub is lovely the food vary's all the time from good to awful. Its a 50/50 thing which are not good odds. We would however go again - although it would not be a first choice - be ware of special meals like christmas and easter etc.. thats whent he stress ont he kitchen seems to take its toll.

One of the best meals I have had out recently. Very interesting menu, lots of simple, good Italian food, quality produce, very long list of fish specials which is always good. Lovely staff (the waiter has a strange habit of backing away from you when he reads the specials, which I found rather amusing!). Recommend chargrilled squid with chilli. Much better (and much more Italian) than the other Italian restaurant in 'fashionable West Didsbury'. A welcome addition to a bursting restaurant scene on Burton Road.

Easily matches the best that china town has to offer in a far more impressive environment. Excellent.

This has got to be the best pub grub i have ever tasted.... The meals are huge for the price you pay. You can even choose your own pig out of the garden.

I'm a regular here. If you fancy something different then this is for you. The menu is divided into 3 : Fish, chicken and veggies - guess it keeps costs down. Personally I find the veggies interesting - Moong beans and the okra are good. Even though there is a small menu don't be surprised if your selection is out of stock and that includes the wine ! The 2 ladies that run the show are polite and hard working - occasional mistakes on orders are made - but remember its the charm, the ambiance, the tasty food and cheap prices which are the forte here. If you want waiters and waitresses watching your every mouthful then try the overpriced place opposite.

It is a crime that we went in here of a Friday night and were the only customers. Food exquisite, cool surroundings and lovely staff. Make the journey (which is a little out of the way opposite southern cemetery) and eat the lamb with broad beans and rice.

This is the best Chinese I have been to. Can not fault it, It manages to be a city centre standard restaurant in the burbs. The staff are so friendly and professional, and the food is the best ever. I wont eat anywhere else now. Highly recommended.

This is a pub which has a Spanish chef. The food is delicious and the staff are lovely. It is definitely worth a try as you probably don? need to book during the week why not try it when you feel like a meal out

Our first visit to the Koh Samui restaurant was last night; it won't be our last. There are many good quality Thai restaurants in Manchester but the food and service here were superlative. At less than £100 for 4 people, each having many Singha beers, starters, mains and a couple of speciality coffees; I think the price was more than acceptable. The recommendation is simple - GO !

Fabulous restaurant serving delicious Persian cuisine. For those not in the know, Persian food is very refined, with subtle aromatic sauces and not at all over-spicy. it also comes with an abundance of delicious basmati rice. Another favourite is the 'Cheloh' kebab, cooked in a special oven and a world away from those greasy late-night donner kebabs on offer in most places. The atmosphere is exotic Middle-Eastern and the service very friendly and unhurried. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good Persian food, and especially to those who have never tried it before.

went on saturday night, menu good selection, food was well presented, generous portions tasty and interesting. would go back again we had two course with no wine, but could end up being pricey with desert and wines so watch out

Absolutely fantastic food and decor!! Amazing bar and ambience to die for! I don? think anyone in Manchester, no the North West can beat this restaurant for all round superb food service and CLASS!!!!

Tried several Indian restaurants. None come close to the quality and taste of the food served here. What a brilliant deal they do during the week. £8.95 for 5 courses. SUPERB!!! It's now the only Indian i will go to. This is without a doubt the BEST.
