L’Aquila Prestwich – PrestwichThe food is always hot and fresh. Portion sizes are good value for money even on the early bird choice. Excellent choices
Papa Luigis – WiganYes nice couple of hours. Very pleased with the meal and the attention from the staff. Been many times before- lovely venue
Waggon and Horses – StalybridgeWe had a party of 31 celebrating an 80th birthday, food was great, service was excellent and everyone enjoyed it. Thank you.
The Rising Moon – HydeNice atmosphere and service. This is my local and I've noticed it never smells like stale beer or a gent's toilet unlike Hillary Step next door or the otherwise fantastic Carlton Club down the road: here, they offer interesting spirit combinations on request and, as a cider drinker myself, there's usually an option for me. The crowd is usually friendly without undesirable come ons. While it feels very LGBT friendly, I have met both anti and pro trans folk here, but such is life. Spacious seating and interesting decor with two outdoor options, one directly in the sunlight until evening until the spring and summer late evenings, the other providing cover from the rain for smokers or outdoor loners.
Nip and Tipple – HulmeWent for brunch last Monday, excellent food lovely staff It's a credit to Andy how he's transformed the place
The Windmill Parbold – WiganWe ate here for the first time at the weekend and we weren’t disappointed. It’s a lovely restaurant with plenty of staff who are attentive without being overbearing. The food is delicious, my husband’s fillet was apparently one of the best he’s had. Good wine selection too as well as excellent cocktails. We will definitely be returning.
Sorella Restaurant – OldhamNice food , nice staff
The Rising Moon – HydeWent on Bank Holiday, a bit too noisy and busy for us, but to be expected. Adult food was good in the end, good portion size and tasty. Service wasn't the quickest though and our order was originally brought out wrong, more worryingly for our daughter's allergies. The restaurant apologised and quickly fixed the issues with adult order, and replaced my daughter's with what we ordered for her, but her chicken was very very dry, she left most if it. We ordered the alternative options for children with allergies dessert, but were then told they were all out after we'd already placed the order, they offered my daughter strawberries instead which she enjoyed. okay overall experience, but won't be rushing back. We've had much better experiences and overall food quality elsewhere.
The Rising Moon – HydeGreat service from the minute we stepped through the door. I lovely member of the bar staff team came and met us and took us to our table. She supplied us with menus then asked us what we'd like to drink. We all ordered Sunday roast, there was no veggie option but they were more than happy to put a roast together without the meat, an extra Yorkshire pudding along with extra potato's and veg. We followed this with apple crumbles all round which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The food was absolutely amazing along with great service. We'll be back again soon. Thanks for a great lunch.
The Windmill Parbold – WiganI've started coming here regularly now when I work in our Manchester office. The food and atmosphere are perfect and the combination of a cafe and bookstore is brilliant. They even held the last maple flapjack for me and wrapped it to take away so I could catch my train on time - above and beyond.
